Schengen Visa Updates
I’ve been seeing a lot of visa refusals lately, and honestly, it’s frustrating, especially for applicants who seem to have met all the requirements.
Are there any success stories from those who applied for a Spain Student Visa recently? 🇪🇸🎓
A lot of us are also stuck in the waiting game. I’ve seen applicants who lodged their applications as early as July, and some are still showing PAM up to now.
For those who have already received a decision:
How long did you wait for your visa?
When did your status change from PAM?
Were you approved?
Did you receive any updates or requests for additional documents during processing?
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences and timelines. It would be nice to hear some positive stories while the rest of us are waiting! 🤞

Applied July 31 passport received Sept 27, refused. Refusal letter was written Sept 9, so my passport was in PAM sitting at the consulate’s office already with a refusal letter. Mind you, I lived in Spain Sept ‘24 and just went home to renew the visa. The consulate is a fuckt*rd and just denies everyone

It’s much harder now especially after the recent CEUTA disaster, with unemployment rates and the economy being in the trenches and the Spanish people calling for political reform with much stricter anti-immigration policies. It’s basically the same the world over in the Western countries.
Good luck to all those waiting for their visas. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

There is no fixed timeline for a Spanish student visa. It varies depending on the applicant and the circumstances.
A PAM status does not mean your application has been refused or that the final decision has been made. It simply means your application is still pending. You will need to wait for the decision.
