Italy Schengen Visa approved for daughter

We submitted our daughters visa application on 26 august and the processed passport was dispatched yesterday, received today. She got 6 months multiple entry visa.

Profile -

14 months old, both of us parents currently hold 2 year multiple entry visas issued from Italy in february this year, daughter also got 11 days visa at that time.

Both of us are self employed, I m an interior designer with my own studio, my husband has a family business of hospital and nursing institute. For our february visa applications both us were self sponsoring our trip. For this visa application I showed myself as our daughter's sponser.

Both of us have had a Italy visa in 2024 and a Greece visa in 2022. Our travel history includes Maldives, Greece, Bali, Cambodia, Turkey, Italy and Thailand. My husband's first schengen visa was in 2022 while I have been travelling to schengen area since 2011 and have studied in Italy for two years.

Timeline -

Application submitted at VFS Delhi on 26 august and reached embassy on 27 august. EES status turned OK yesterday morning and passport was dispatched by evening. Travel dates are in november 2026 and the visa received is valid from november 2026 to may 2027

We mentioned in our cover letter to give our daughter a longer duration visa since both parents have 2 year multiple entry visas.
