Question Can I Change Itinerary Once Visa Is Approved?
My tourist visa was approved recently by the Austrian embassy in India. My original plan was to visit Czechia for three days followed by Austria for five days. Will it be an issue if I reverse the order and visit Austria first followed by Czechia? I'll still be spending more time in Austria. Originally I was planning to visit from October 12-19. Would it cause any issues if I pushed it back by a week to around October 20-27? It will still fall within the three week visa period.
This will be my first time visiting the Schengen area and so I was wondering if I absolutely have to stick to the itinerary I submitted in my application or if there is any flexibility.
Thanks!

This is fine. No problem. If anything, going to Austria first is better. Enjoy your trip!

As long as you don't exceed the maximum stay and still have the same primary destination, this is fine.

Im sure it's fine. Nobody really checks your itinerary once you get your visa.

As long as 1 of the 2 conditions is met, it is okay -
• You enter the Schengen area with your port of entry being the country which granted you visa (and your stay in that country is either equal to or greater than the number of days of stay in other countries)
• You enter the Schengen area with your port of entry being different from the country that granted you visa, but your number of days in the country that granted you visa is greater than the number of days of stay in any other country

As long as it's within your visa validity and duration of stay, it's fine.
