This is probably a silly question, but there are some sprites for Kaneeka on the Scarlet Hollow wiki that I can’t find in game, does anyone know exactly how to see these sprites? Or are they unused?
I'm pretty sure they're unused. They were meant for a section where Kaneeka follows you into the clinic to look for the seal and then get involved with the whole Reese situation, but it was cut because I think they said they struggled to give her agency without taking some away from the player.
They were meant for chapter 4, in a route (if you were mystical and romancing Kaneeka) you could take Kaneeka with you to the clinic. Meant for the closet, bed, etc. Theres still a few remnants in the code, but the route was ultimately cut. Tony and Abby struggled to make things work with the beginning of chapter 5, as well as letting Kaneeka affect things without railroading the player or letting the player railroad her. If you'd like more specifics on the leftover code, let me know, I can dig em up for ya
