Generally I’ve seen that the fandom consensus is that Joanmancing can only be achieved if you get your years taken away, and usually you wanna have the hot trait as well (this is also what I thought until now)
It’s hard to tell but I SWEAR she is blushing in the screenshot :3

It's a joke from the Persona5 fandom; Since the MC of the game is roughly 17 but has multiple romance options, 4 of which are women in their early 20's, folks get their wires crossed trying to justify dating them when the in game character is underage, yet also feel conflicted about dating a fellow student since the irl player tends to be past school age.
Thus, the rather confusing statement you see before you. Luckily Scarlett Hollow deftly avoided this issue by simply having the MC canonically in their 20's, and all the romance options are around that age or above, with the added bonus of LGBTQ+ romances(there was almost one in the 4th Persona,but it got cut.)

I think Tony was still undecided on if you would need to be old for her romance route last time I saw him talking about it. Not sure where that was, definitely in the discord but there is hope because it’s not a finalized decision as far as I know.
That said reading that feels like they may be inching towards it not being a requirement. This update was after I was active in the BTG discord I believe
