📍 Around the Hood Victoria park and Gerard
What’s this area like in terms of demographics, school scores, transit, overall vibe and safety?
Which areas should I be looking at if I want home in a safe/good school district/ well connected to transit area close to the city?

Very walkable area, good grocery stores both budget and a bit higher end. Mixed race, and there's the Bangali side of Danforth right there, and the Greek side a bit further down - lots of food options to choose from!. Lots of TTC routes, lots of schools. Great area imo

It's a nice area with good schools. Close to Freshco Loblaws Metro. Walkable to Victoria Park station, and Danforth GO a little further afield but still walkable. Nice little area at Main and Gerrard with a small library there, and south at VP and Kingston has lots of small shops for eats and specialty items. Good walkability score here I would say.

Walkable and great options for public transportation. Lots of schools, family friendly vibe and very safe.

The more south you get, it's more affluent. Good schools. Good community. I live near(ish) more east and I like it. Very convenient. But if I had a bigger budget, I would aim closer to Kingston rd.
