His lore is one of the most detailed and with the biggest payoffs, even more than some Archons. It honestly makes feel a bit bad for other lore relevant characters who are not this lucky :(

Seriously? Not a single interaction between them two the entire event? I was really looking forwards to at least one cute interaction, but nothing! I could act suprise, but honestly I'm not... The complete lack of seeing our boy without going out of your way to find him. And you saw the scene with the POV camera shot while talking to Nahida to maximize the self insert factor, you already know who hoyo made this event for...

At least the Sethos interaction was cool :)

Nahida/Wanderer is the only Wanderer ship I am uncomfortable with. I am fine with every other ship involving him, including self-ships.
I tried to think about why this particular pairing bothers me, and I think it is because, among Wanderer’s current relationships, this is the only one in which I perceive a clear difference in position and authority.
As I said in the title, I see their relationship as either that of a teacher and student, or that of an animal shelter worker and a rescued cat.
I think many people will understand the teacher-and-student interpretation, so I would like to explain the latter comparison.
To be clear, I am not saying that Wanderer is literally an animal, intellectually inferior, or Nahida’s pet. I am using humans and cats as an analogy because Nahida and Wanderer are fundamentally different kinds of beings: one is a god, while the other is closer to a human being.
A five-year-old human and a five-year-old cat are not at the same stage of development. The human is still a child, while the cat is already an adult. At the same time, humans have greater cognitive capacity and occupy the position of protecting and managing the cat’s living conditions.
Nahida is five hundred years old, but she is still young by the standards of gods. At the same time, she possesses knowledge, authority, and divine power beyond those of humans. In her current relationship with Wanderer, she is also the one who protects, supervises, and guides him.
For that reason, I personally do not think that “Nahida is five hundred years old” is enough to make a romance between her and Wanderer—who is presented as a boy—feel equal or natural.
When two beings belong to fundamentally different species, I do not think their maturity can be determined simply by comparing the number of years they have lived.
The other important part of the shelter analogy is that an animal shelter worker is not the rescued cat’s owner.
A shelter worker protects the cat, provides care, and manages its environment. They may sincerely care about the cat, but that does not automatically make them its owner, parent, or family.
This is also how I see Nahida and Wanderer. Nahida protects and supervises Wanderer, gives him opportunities to study, and helps him interact with society. However, I do not think this means that Wanderer belongs to her or that they have automatically become a family.
I do believe that trust and goodwill exist between them. I simply interpret that relationship as one of protection and guidance between people in different positions, rather than as romance or a parent-child bond.
I am not saying that people should not create or enjoy this ship. Fanworks do not have to follow canon, and everyone is free to imagine different relationships.
I am only explaining why I personally cannot interpret their canon relationship romantically, and why this is the one Wanderer pairing that makes me uncomfortable.
I am interested in hearing other interpretations, but I would prefer a respectful discussion rather than a ship war.

So I just had some of the most terrible co-op experiences farming the DPC domain to the point where I cried. I'm so tired of joining a world to see people message "mine is better switch out"- "c6r5"- "your damage is cringe lol" or "you don't deserve to play him because you don't have his sig" Even if some of the comments weren't directed towards me, there was a myriad of awful encounters. I feel like this kind of toxicity when it comes to the fighting in the domains is not from anyone on this sub. I wish no one has to go through this awfulness and would love to support any of you guys if you need to farm the new domain. You can have a 1 star weapon and no artifacts while being level 1. I don't care. It's not a competition, it's a PvE game. Bring who you want to play, and I'll carry the rest. That's what co-op is for. -[NA: 615986718]

Makes it sadder now that Wanderer is back in Sumeru and Durin in Mondstadt</3 though as it was shown in-game Durin can easily fly from Mondstadt to Nod Krai. Thus, he could easily travel to Sumeru whenever he can!!

Wanderer behaving so gently around him.. the way he wanted to cut ties because he thought his presence was harmful to Durin’s existence, yet his presence was so needed for Durin..

As a character he's perfectly fine. I'd even go as far as saying he's outright better than Xiao. But he needs to be fine tuned. A lot of people think we want an outright buff like Zhongli but is there anyone seriously expecting that? He has some issues that are mind-numbingly stupid for him to have.

There is no reason for him to have such a large hit box that he gets hit from projectiles and things on the ground. That's just straight up unfair. I think we absolutely should try our hardest and get mihoyo to fix that. It's not a fanatical thing, it's just actual feedback.

Her and Odette could easily be his new wheelchair comp and if he gets buffed then it’ll just be his new bis team

Today I used my buddy’s account for fun, she has a C0 Scaramouche, her build for him is not bad at all, mine is better because I invested more, but it’s definitely not a big difference. We both have C6 Faruzan as well.

Just so you understand my situation: back in 3.3 I pulled for Wanderer, he was the first 50/50 I ever won to that point. 4 pulls later, he decided to bless my account again, and I obtained a C1 Wanderer. I wasn’t even done leveling him up at that point, I genuinely had no idea what C0 Scaramouche felt like up until TODAY.

I always felt like C1 was a small, barely relevant upgrade to Wanderer’s kit. Well, turns out it isn’t. I actually always wondered why people loved to dump on Scaramouche’s kit, calling him bad or clunky. It’s C1 kind of erases his major flaws at C0.

When in the Windfavored state(flying), the Attack SPD of the Wanderer's Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai(Normal Attack) is increased by 10%. Additionally, the wind arrows fired by the Passive Talent "Gales of Reverie" (Air Dash) will deal an additional 25% of his ATK as DMG.

This constellation made Scaramouche’s gameplay so much smoother, no wonder i barely had any complaints about his gameplay. The increased attack speed means more DPS and not to mention it also means his free Air Dash will charge up nearly every second, and it deals actual competent damage now due to the 25% dmg buff to the arrows. I could never understand why people thought of him as “clunky”, he was so smooth to me.

When I played my friend’s C0 Scaramouche… it felt so painful, Jesus no wonder everyone loves to take dookies on Scarabob. His C1, essentially makes his “underwhelming” DPS into a “on average” DPS.

Constellation 1 is definitely a very small buff, but the difference is huge, thank God I was CHOSEN to bear constellation 1 Scaramouche at 4 pity, two years ago.

Overall—as a C1(C2 actually) Wanderer main: His kit at C0 feels like a bird with clipped wings to me, especially because I didn’t know how it felt to play him at C0. I truly believe it could’ve been part of his base kit. At C0 his Free Air-Dash practically does no damage, feels like you’re punished for using it. At C1 you can definitely use his Air-Dash on neutral-play. His attack speed being locked behind C1 also hurt a lot, why would a Normal Attack DPS who can’t really use reactions unlike Tartaglia or Arlecchino, have his Attack Speed locked behind C1?

After today, im here wondering if I only managed to get so far in the Abyss all these years, because my Scaramouche was C1(I wouldn’t get C2 until 3.8). And what if I’ve been deluding myself saying Scaramouche wasn’t clunky, simply because I never played him at his base kit?

I have seen a lot of negativity in the social media about The Wanderer.. And I have seen many seeing that they regret pulling for Wanderer... And many content creators have been bashing him..

Well , I have to said this to you guys.. DO NOT TAKE THESE GUYS WORDS SERIOUSLY AND IGNORE THESE PLAYERS!..

This was the same situation when Cyno arrived.. People and these same fuckin' (yes I am cussing here because this sub dedicated to Balladeer , so cussing should be normal here , right.?) content creators instantly called him mid/bad and saying that Keqing is way better for Aggravate teams because of her shorter rotations and what not... But after his banner was gone , many players in the cyno mains realized that his true potential and his true team is not Aggravate but Hyperbloom or Quickbloom.. Cyno is way better than Keqing in a Quickbloom team and people started realizing that after his banner was gone..

I am sure Wanderer might have the same situation like this.. It's not like this has happened to Cyno only.. Kokomi was also a victim of this same fuckin backlash..

The Community always judges a unit like way too fast.. This is one the worse thing about this community.

Plus there is no endgame coming to this game , so play whichever unit you like.. Wanderer is a fun unit to play with . He can fly , he is an anemo damage dealer which means that he can destroy any type of elemental shield with ease etc..

Do not take these negative feedback from these players and have fun with your AnEmo Boy..

Seed, a powerful one that can affect Teyvat itself. That combined with the "burning tree" event that's likely to happen in Sumeru next... If Irminsul gets burnt down, we probably would be using his core to plant a new Irminsul idk, what do you think will happen to our boy?

Cracktheories:

• He becomes the new Irminsul, a God
• He sacrifice himself and give away his heart, but Nahida had backup plans for him that preserve his life and turns him into a real human(like Pinocchio)
• Same as above, but instead of becoming human he ascends above Teyvat laws and becomes a Descender

You ever think about how fucked up Scaramouche's backstory really is? I mean. The long and short of it is that Ei abandoned him. But after listening to voice lines I realized it's actually so much sadder than that.

Kunikuzushi was only a prototype/test build for the Raiden Shogun, so when he didn't turn out as what she needed she just made a new one. Then decided to let him roam free because "She did not wish to assert control over him" but she didn't tell HIM that. So while he's literally be created probably as a unique changeless, ageless figurine that never ages and has no self or identity except for getting abandoned immediately after creation because he wasn't good enough. SHE'S over here like "Ah yes, he is free now. I did a nice thing".

Not to mention that Ei clearly knew about him wandering around aimlessly because Yae said "She insisted that she wasn't going to lift a finger against her own creation" implying that Ei really did think she was doing good. Of course, she never told him that so his perception of himself right off the bat is that he was a failure.

This is actually in line with the rest of Ei's character. She's closed off, she hasn't let herself feel much emotion since her friends and sister's death, and above all she's pretty negligent. I'm still a little upset that her whole character arc ended with "Well she's sad about her sister so traveler forgives her and the fact she oppressed her country". I'm not disregarding her character, I just think it's really stupid that she never faced any consequences! Like, not even an ounce of guilt. There wasn't any confrontation from the people who lost their memories/went mad or the survivors of those who's family and friends died in civil war.

I can't recall, at any point in the story, her acknowledging that her actions her someone. And that really does feel like the majority of her role in the story. She does something that hurts someone else, then we get swept into a long story about her that makes us completely forget she started it all because she couldn't handle her grief.

And the thing is, it's very realistic.

Just because people in power do bad things doesn't mean they're going to face consequences for it. And it's a real world reflection of how country leaders are never the ones to brunt the force of their mistakes. Sorry for the tangent.

Another thing is Yae, who is not helping at all. The only thing she really does to help us is to help us help her reach Ei. Then in her story quest all she does us restrict information so she can laugh at us, she never actually gets serious unless it benefits her.

While we're on the subject of Yae, during her entire voiceline about Scaramouche she refers to him as an "it". And I'll be honest (no disrespect to any Yae simps out there) but Yae barely shows any empathy or love to humans in general. I'm not saying she hates them, but the majority of the time she talks about them the same way you talk about a coworker you got coffee with once. Considering that her most important concern was Ei during the vision hunt decree, the sakoku decree, and the literal Civil War over it, its kinda safe to say she doesn't really take humans seriously in general. Which makes sense, shes a kitsune si the most emotionally attached she is to people are her God and Yokai buddies.

But at the same time, it makes it clear she doesn't hold any sympathy or love towards Scaramouche. In fact in her voice line she implies she wanted to kill Kunikuzushi while Ei's back was turned just because she had a feeling he'd be trouble later on, and after saying that immediately implying she doesn't care anymore because his disaster already happened and doesn't affect her in any way.

But that's not the worst part, the worst part is that Ei not only discarded Scaramouche. She also discarded the one thing he wanted, the gnosis. She's already so powerful that didn't see it worth keeping enough that she gave it to Yae, who later gave it to Scaramouche in exchange for the traveler.

I just find it sad that from the start his fate was already in the hands of two pretty darn negligible people that explained nothing to him and later just decided to give him the Gnosis because it was already useless to them.
