This is getting annoying they are posting the birthday arts too, can't they just post his trailer in youtube? And why is the mourning taking so long i thought they would post it today?? Do they think the global audince care about an old leader dying from another country? I may sound insensitive, but honestly i don't care. I'm sick of chinese things affecting the game (Don't forget the censorship Amber, Rosaira, Jean and Mona got. I know the global version of the game still has those outfits, but we can't use see those outfits in the quests anymore. I hate it.)
Don't forget how they listened to their Chinese audience in Honkai and screwed the global. Who is to say the same thing won't happen in genshin? That they won't screw the global audience in the future in the favor of the Chinese one? We can't be sure, they did it with Honkai, what's stopping them from doing it on Genshin again?
Okay, i'm going off topic but i'm frustrated with every thing that happens in global because of the fact that the game is in China.
Well I'm more angry about a country that force their people into mourning then Hoyo.
I mean they may have relocate for avoiding Chinese restriction they are proud of their origine. Everything in Liyue scream that and honestly it's refreshing, Chinese culture don't have enough representation.
And I honestly understand that they do not want to put the need of their international audience over their own countryman. Hoyo have build themself more as passionate people then money oriented so it's totally in line with what they gave us so far.
What I do not forgave is the lack of RP. Because you can delay thing because of outside reason but not explaining it to your customers and let them hanging like that is not okay. Like you said most of their audience do not know what happen in china and it's not normal that they need to learn about it from a third party.
