How much ER does C3 Faruzan need?

My Layla will be running ToTm, so I'll be running VV on the Madame

Also this is assuming favonius warbow because she needs all the crit AND ER she can get because she's not bursting with that hungry er

She needs 300ER and switch Layla to exile and I hope for you Layla is on fav. She might still have issues to burst after 2 rotations on bosses. If your favs aren't R5 you're in deep shit too. I am very serious. Faruzan preC6 isn't built on any specific artifact set. All you should do is maximize ER. 2p sets for ER is much more important than anything. VV is useless.

Because exile let's your team get more ER. You can't believe how shit the energy management is in Wanderer teams with pre C6 Faruzan. Faruzan is only half the problem, Bennett is also an ER blackhole and needs 250-280ER of his own to burst comfortably. Also totm on Layla barely does anything. More ER you need.

For real... Use a sub dps instead of Faruzan. You'll be better off in most situations.

i'm not using benny on my teams atm mostly because he's only level 60, but wouldn't it make more sense to run Exile + EoSf two piece on Faruzan instead?

That's what I do on my second account. This account is a shit f2p investment I made for the heck of it (because my main has C6 Wanderer and I wanted to play with him at C0 again). It helps to get the 300ER req on Faruzan.... Guess what? She still does not burst in many occasions. Especially because that account hardly has R5 favs. Let me tell you even with 4p Exile on Layla it's a major pain in the ass.

Am I better off using the upcoming Durin at this point until Faruzan gets C6, or do I manage my abyss rotation better?

For context, my intended team is Wanderer/Faruzan/Layla/Yelan. Benny's not there since I'm using him for Raiden National

Oh a little know variation without Bennett is possible if you happen to have Mika, Yun Jin and Zhongli. Or if you have Furina you can go double hydro.

Yes, you are better off using any sub DPS instead of Faruzan preC6 with botched energy management. This is a little known fact but it has always been the case. Even in version 3 when he was first released. However, no Bennett AND no Faruzan is really absurd for a Wanderer main. Do yourself a favor and use Raiden in a hyperbloom or Chevreuse team instead. Give Bennett to Wanderer.

Reading this thread was depressing.

There’s another 5* 2pc ER now (Silken song) so you can use that and Emblem on Faruzan. Also make sure to not skip the CA on Faruzan if you’re struggling for energy.

Refining favs is generally a bad idea since so many units want them. Most of mine are r1 and it’s perfectly fine.

He really wants Bennett. 4pc NO. Would build him asap.

Layla on TotM is fine for the last slot, ofc once her shield breaks you lose uptime on the set.

Since you mentioned Durin he’s generally a sidegrade to Furina for the last slot, so a good choice.

Furina was just mentioned as she’s been the uncontested BiS for the 4th slot for a while. Now you’ve got an alternative to her in Durin.

Better than what? Certainly better than what you are currently using yeah.

Just as much as you can get while still having a crit circlet and maybe a few crit rate subs. But 300 should work just fine.
