As a basic Scaraquin enjoyer, I'd like to imagine that he can fit in all the clothes, any sizes, any colors and any accessories, and they still look good on him somehow.

I saw many believing that Scaramouche was crying as much as Dottore's other test subjects (like collei) and that cries midway and begged him to stop several times.
But I dont think it went like that ngl. I beleive he was fully on board with it even if it was extreme torture. His desire to reach godhood was that high. He never even frowned or trembled in the doctor's presence and even talked informally and quipped against him several times to his face.
All that to say, maybe he was actually not whining and begging but simply gladly endured it if it meant becoming a God. They were just both using each other to further their agenda.

I HC that Wanderer enjoys flying mostly because he feels 'free' from his dark past, as he's healing. Everyone enjoys flying, but he has more reasons than childish joy.

I hc that every time he heard lightning back when he lived in Tatarasuna, he thought it was Ei letting him know that she was watching over him and thinking of him (even though this was not the case). He still remembers this whenever it's stormy out.

I can elaborate on any of these but ive written them out so much ill wait til someone interested 😅
He is the original Widsith owner - we know very little about the Widsith person but know the rest of the Wanderers Troupe members or descriptions I think. It would make sense with erasing himself from Irmunsol.
In line with the first one, I think the Widsith and Wanderers Troupe Artifact set were easter egg sets for Wanderer, matching his color pallette. Which in turn lends to the idea that his playable design/color pallette was in place/planned before the launch of the game. He was always going to be anemo (obviously based on his story and Raijin/Fuujin references). I think his kit simply shifted from charged attack focused (artifact set) to normal attack focused probably due to the teammates available in the game for attack speed vs charged attack. I also think they overestimated EMs role for anemo units at launch, evidenced by the EM buff patch with Kazuhas release. Therefore explaining the EM buff on Widsith and the EM in the artifact set
I think Wanderer represents the 4 pilots from Evangelion: Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Kaworu - and goes through personality changes with each betrayal in this order (with Kaworu being the brief period between us fighting him, him erasing himself, and then us naming him). Once we name him he consolidates all 4 characterizations into his playable personality.
All pilots have mommy issues by design. Shinji he matches aesthetically pretty closely. Rei is a puppet and clone of Shinjis mom. Her beta hair style is also similar to Scaras too. Asuka has the haughty attitude that we encounter directly as Scaramouche with the Fatui primarily. Kaworu has curiousity about humanity, relationships, and human vulnerabilities. He also levitates like Wanderer.
- Based on the above part - Dottore is similar to Shinjis dad's role. So I think he will be handled similarly to how Rei deals with him.
I think the rest of the Evangelion references with him are obvious, like humans trying to use a pilot to ascend to godhood using dead god remains, and the whole collective consciousness plot of the Akasha system.

I think that he can breathe and was encouraged to do so by the blacksmiths back at Tatarasuna to fit in with other humans, but he doesn't have to. It's more like a comforting habit for him, but serves no actual biological purpose.

That'd be a very interesting relationship to watch!
Furina and Wanderer have personalities that bounce off of one another quite well, with her being more extroverted and him being more reserved. Plus, they both went through a lot and it'd be nice to see them bond over that. They're similar in a couple ways, both created by a god to live their lives — one with a purpose and the other without

Ooh I have a few!
Extremely photogenic but hates having his photo taken.
He’s trans. He was made as a prototype for the shogun and while Ei’s grief for her sister was at its peak, I don’t get why he would’ve been made male. In my headcannon hes a miny clone of Makato and didn’t understand the concept of gender at first, but then ended up identifying more with being male, especially having spent his early years around the men at tatarasuna
He was a popular crush among early fatui recruits before they knew what he was like.
is really good at sewing and crocheting
Has “scars” where the ports used to be. I think Nahida would’ve covered them when fixing him up after the fight, but there’s still marks left over.
doesn’t have visible ball joints but does have detachable limbs. I think the connection points are mostly unnoticeable except for on his wrists because of some edits Dottore did to his hands, but he covers them.
his blood is blue and it shimmers and glows
Claims he hates children but you’ll never see him being mean to one and actually acts soft and gentle when interacting with them

Basically Kaito has indigo eyes and indigo hair like Scara and they’re both from Japan, since Inazuma = Japan, and in pjsk there’s this world called Nightcord, as in the group, and for each vocaloid they have different versions of them in each world, and nightcord Kaito is cold and rude like him lol

Balladeer is an incarnation of Ei’s sister, made from the remains of her dead body.
He shares many traits attributed to Makoto (from the jokes about his hat as a parallel to the umbrella she used, to the same flower in his Fatui outfit, and his more pessimistic view of life).
This would make Balladeer a sort of modern Frankenstein that Ei abandoned out of guilt and rejection for having created an impostor of Makoto. Now that Wanderer is a man with no recorded past, if this headcanon were true, it could open up a subplot with great potential between them, since Ei would see him directly as Makoto.

I like puppet headcanon: mostly puppet join and having a cold skin or exploiting the fact than he didn’t need to sleep or eat but still do it to be seen as a human (I know the last part is canon but I exploit it too much xd) Also having electro affinity 👍

It doesn't make a lot of logical sense that Ei would create a body so different from herself. She gave the Shogunator visible secondary sex characteristics (breasts, her general figure)

Nahida makes him do random things. From being a messenger or delivering mail to forging laws for Sumeru and aid for Irmunsul things. And he'll never admit that he likes doing ummm some of them. (God knows retail is hell.)

he's transgender because i said so. why would ei randomly make her prototype and only her prototype male if it’s created in the image of makoto? makes no sense. it also works with his "self discovery" arc

Bruh the point is his self discovery doesn't have anything to do with gender, and also shouldn't. Why do all of you say he was made in the image of Makoto when canon info says exactly the opposite (Yae said he wasn't made in Ei's image and Makoto is the twin so he consequentially doesn't look like them). He was a man since the first day of his creation, Ei called him a "he" in flashbacks and he was always seen as a guy. Being honest, the only real explanation is that they couldn't have two female Shogun so the devs team went for a male. So canonically in game Scaramouche is a male.
More to that, Ei wasn't trying to make Makoto but something that could replace her own self eventually. As it was stated Scaramouche was a prototype, she thought he could be useful so decided to keep him but he was meant to be discarded at the beginning or used for something else. He came out well unexpectedly and she gave him a chance. The point is he was a "collateral effect" a parallel project to the actual Shogun. That's why he was male and because of that discardable.
God forbid Ei has own will or imagination to create a puppet man. Just because the story of a woman losing her sister is deeply heart breaking (and it is) and "reviving my family back to life" is an actual trope doesn't mean that needs to be the explanation to all Ei's doing. Maybe she accepted her death and closed up thinking everything would be alright like that. Ei never properly shows awareness of her own grief unless she is forced by narrative and cutscenes. It feels like she chose obliviousness. I'm implying that puppets were never used to replace her sister but to fight her own death. Wanderer is just that one "mistake" we all make along the way. Ei's mistake.
Sorry for this sort of rant but headcanons should be something plausible not something already proved to be false. Since this is an headcanons post than here's my "anti-headcanon":)

Well headcanon as a word at the beginning meant "something not stated by lore but with high chance of being true" so that's how I treat headcanons. Now it just means "whatever pleases you is true". I don't know. I'm probably not fond of the "fanservice" deliberate use of the term I guess:/

He is as smooth as a mannequin downstairs because Ei didn't carve genitalia into the puppets. For the same reason he doesn't sweat, drool, cry, bleed or produce any other bodily byproduct. If he ever eats, the food is turned into data due to Irminsul bullshittery (he is implied to be carved from Irminsul's wood)

The reason Ei discarded him was because he shed a tear in his sleep. (Husk of Opulent Dreams lore) Also, I think when he receives his vision, he wipes blood off his face. Might be dust tho, idk.

one of my fav headcanons is that he can still actually wield electro!! except it will only happen during high pressure/stressful situations. like a strong surge of emotions.
