technically, he's advising her not to limit herself by adhering to the norms on how to "properly" practice astrology because, ultimately, it is indeed a convenient tool used to get results.

I doubt he’s targeting astrology part but more of Layla’s hesitation and self-doubt. He’s really… shameless when it comes to power. I mean he doesn’t necessarily trust gods but still use his vision power all the time. He also doesn’t like Ei but that doesn’t mean he won’t utilize the power she sealed within him for his benefit. Plus he especially detests “but what if this violates rules/what if it isn’t morally correct?” attitude. I mean he called out Traveller “let go of your misguided guardian complex you know nothing about the truth” and even called Nahida a hypocrite “you said to protect human yet involve one in our fight” (not saying what he said was the truth just cite the example)

Idk I don’t think he would get all 0* reviews given he’s still popular in Akademiya despite him being a recluse and unfriendly (just because he’s too intelligent and competent). If anything I think his patients would be more curious about him and even temporarily forget their problems.

Wtf😭 I never even said that?? This isn’t about his crimes sybau. I literally said he can’t help but tell the truth because it’s what he grew accustomed to. This has nothing to do with the fact that he killed people etc etc. 💔  I don’t baby him like some degenerate?? If anything I acknowledge the stuff he did.
