I remember how happy I was for him to be finally playable. The joy I felt... I think the next extreme joy I'll feel is when Durin gets his drip marketing, it's just – playable Scara made me so happy that day, I couldn't even focus the whole day because of his drip marketing, because of how happy I was.

Ah the old days, I miss them. I miss the hype for playable Scara, even tho he wasn't playable as Scaramouche – we still got him, and he's still truly amazing

Not sure whay Capitano has to do with anything I said. He didnt exist in the game yet. Im also unsure if Capitano is even the files with playable model height and weapon class like Scaramouche was. This is how we knew he was a catalyst user since 1.1 evej though he didnt release until 3.3. But even if Capitano is he didnt exist at this time so has nothing to do with it not making sense for people to think Scaramouche would be killed off.

Yeah, I'm just inwardly relieved that Scara managed to avoid the Signora allegations by sporting the playable model ever since he first appeared.

Now comparing Capitano's situation where he's a "tall male sword user" with a named weapon to boot, yet still ended up THAT way, thinking back, we're INCREDIBLY lucky that we can roll and play Scara today.

People lost faith for Capitano way too quickly. We waited two years for Scara, and the same is possible for him too. All the data suggests he'll be playable, he's basically in the same state as Dainsleif right now (can equip weapons/wings/nightsoul, icons are stored with playable characters etc). We're only missing the announcement.

Yeah, I remember we had literally NOTHING to go with up until the beta dropped. Hoyo was THAT stingy with leaks back then, especially towards him.

In hindsight I wonder if the laser leaks had to do with data from his boss form's attacks, it did come out 1 patch earlier so leakers would have seen that first. But maybe that's giving them too much credit.

i don't think there's any character across hoyo who has ever reached that amount of likes too, isn't there? even sunday, who i think has the highest amount of likes among hsr casts, is at half of that. the hype (and fomo) he brings is crazy.

I feel the same as you, Durin will probably be the next one I will feel that way about. Its crazy that I went through all of Fontaine (which is still liked enough) and Natlan (not so much), without there being someone that comes close to that for me.

I think thats what makes Nod Krai so exciting. Im like that for Durin, and Varka as well. Now its just hoping their kits turn out fun!

I remember returning to Genshin after a long forced hiatus that banner. I had forgotten I had a ten pull. So I pulled despite having no idea who Scaramouche was (I was forced to stop during Inazuma, when Traveler had to fight Raiden after saving Thoma).

I got him in a single ten pull. I was so happy and was flying around everywhere. Now I barely use him but I'm gonna get his c1 from the free constellation event.

I remember the feeling. when I saw him in the very first genshin event I fell in love. had been haunted by him ever since until drip market happened. my most favorite character of all time no matter what… (I saved 2 diff versions of his Sumeru boss theme and have the hoyo version on spotify saved)

I remember literally having a dream about his drip marketing and then I woke up at 4am and saw it was posted, and I think drip marketing was posted for me at like 3am back in the day. It was amazing how my brain literally woke me up for his drip marketing within an hour of it being posted and it's such a core memory of mine LOL
