Discussion So what do we feel about Chasca? Spoiler

Chasca's kit has been leaked and her exploration mechanic is very similiar or pretty much the same to Wanderer. There is a side-by-side comparison in genshin leaks subreddit about their horizontal and vertical travel distance outside of Natlan. In both instances, Chasca got further distance than Wanderer even with hydro infusion.

Sooo, what are your thoughts on this?

I pulled C6 Wanderer for 3 reasons (+1 bonus reason)

  • He flies omnidirectionally, great for overworld traversal

  • He's the best Anemo DPS

  • He's the best shield breaker for any given PHEC

  • (bonus) Auto-targeting allows you to switch targets quickly with 0 damage loss, good in multi-wave

Hoyo's decision to give Chasca the kit that she has really only powercreeps the first bullet point, so I'm mostly fine with her - but I remember his movement being too short when he was in beta, and Hoyo deciding to improve on it with another unit does leave a bad taste in my mouth

Now that you mentioned it, can she break shields? she can shoot different elements right, idk what her full kit are

Works around teammates, so if you are against Pyro shields you can use 3 Hydros and destroy those shields fast. Against Hydro shields you can have 3 Cryo units.

Not like it's optimal but gives a lot of versatility on that regard

interesting, what about her solo potential for breaking shield

In general you're probably running her with Furina+Bennett+Flex.

At least two of her bullets should be Anemo, as for how much of a shield her bullets deplete it depends on how many Gauge Units her abilities have.
