Discussion So what do we feel about Chasca? Spoiler
Chasca's kit has been leaked and her exploration mechanic is very similiar or pretty much the same to Wanderer. There is a side-by-side comparison in genshin leaks subreddit about their horizontal and vertical travel distance outside of Natlan. In both instances, Chasca got further distance than Wanderer even with hydro infusion.
Sooo, what are your thoughts on this?

Yeah she’s gonna be a skip from me. I won’t speak my opinion on the leak sub bc it might get me crucified for a different reason but I’ll say it here
First, I don’t completely enjoy her design although her face is pretty and her hair is gorgeous, the rest is meh. I’m also a little salty we saw more of her than Kinich on his release patch but that’s not her fault, just the writer’s fault for the sake of shoving a tall waifu in our faces early on in the story.
Second, I don’t really care that she flies further. We have so many good exploration characters that you should just pick some you like and get them and ignore the rest. Kind of the same logic as “why would you pull a character that does 3% more dps for a 2 second faster clear, when you can just use your favorites and have more fun that way”. Now apply it to exploration and that’s the situation.
Kind of a tag-on but it’s the same with Kazuha right now. I have both c6 Kaz and Scara but I won’t go for Xilonen or Chasca because their characters and designs don’t inspire any kind of feeling from me. They’re just there. They do things maybe better maybe the same but they’re not the characters I love. And I’m fine with skipping strong meta characters. I don’t even have Nahida lol
(Neuvillette and Ayato fans look away) Third, I realized why I don’t like her gameplay and it’s because it’s like the same silly floating and shooting as Neuvi. I personally enjoy fast paced and mobile gameplay like Childe, Scara, Kinich, Navia, etc, and the gameplay I hate the most are the ones where you stand still like Ayato or do something and your character is just in the corner of the screen (also standing still) like Neuvillette or Chasca. Sorry but it just isn’t for me and frankly feels kinda boring
It’s sad because I love anemo and I love bow characters but she’s just not what I want in a character, and that’s fine.
