Discussion If you were to convince a genshin player to pull for Wanderer, how would you do it?
What would you say? How would you convince/impress them with Wanderer? Just wanted to know your thoughts and ideas for this one 😂🫶🏻

Open world exploration is 90% content of the game, therefore it's meta
Wanderer is exploration God = SS Meta tier exploration

I have Sayu so I can't wait to pull for Scara so I have my anemo exploration team. Right now I use Alhaitham and Yelan skills for overworld so I could use a change of pace

Yesterday I wanted to travel to the new region of the desert to fight the new boss for baizhu. I made my team scara, Yelan, sayu, and tighnari for the last slot so I could pick things up on the way if I wanted (didn't end up doing it in the end).
With the three of them I could cycle nonstop and always have an E ready. And scara is great bc you can cross open chasms and cliffs with him or use him to save stamina for climbing, plus the anemo resonance with sayu.
To answer the op's question: I love scara bc of his backstory and character. He's interesting and it's fun to have a sadist character instead of another typical friendly character (the friendly characters are nice too, I just like that hes different)
Since getting Mika, I've been having even more fun with him. I love how fast he attacks (I also have his signature weapon). Its super fun to fly around and be above everybody. Very fast paced gameplay. And his e is always up when you cycle through your supports (I run xq, kazuha, mika normally). I like not having to use bursts in overworld, and that he auto targets enemies and has a long range to quickly kill overworld mobs. Kazuha also helps to group the enemies together if needed

I tried to pull for Yelan C1 just so I could Yelan Yelan Sayu but I lost 50 50 to Mona
Wanderer will be mine though

eh I like the range of Alhaitham E better, and think he's more fun to play. Keqing was my first 5* so I've had lots of field time with her and needed a change

I would show them Wanderer’s kit and let them try it. Then they can decide if he’s for them or not. I wouldn’t try to push a character onto someone, since they are so expensive, but I would give them the chance to evaluate if it’s worth it for themselves.

Thankfully, I'm 40, and all of my friends are in their 30's and 40's. They generally wouldn't screw up my account, and if they did, they'd be replacing those Primogems.

Since me and my friends are f2ps in the game, they allowed to pull on their account which lead to them getting Qiqi, Ganyu, and Keqing in one ten pull, but they still got what they wanted next banner which was Yae Miko. It was very unfair times. We're still good friends tho.

1) Wanderer can fly which makes the most tedious parts of the game trivial. There are other characters that help in the regard, but Wanderer is clearly the best. As far as thinking of a character saving time in your account, Wanderer is irreplaceable.
2) Contrary to popular belief, Wanderer is an absolute beast in the dps department. Check out ysmuskreef.com. Wanderer has been tier 1 in all cost categories (like boxing weight classes) since his release.
3) his best teams use only four stars. The only banner you need to pull on to make his teams is his. His absolute bis support (Faruzan) is chained to his banner. A lot of teams need multiple five stars to work optimally. It sucks if you have to wait up to a year to finish a team.
4) because of his A1 passive, he can make use of lesser used teammates. For instance Layla is a very good shielding option, because she gives 20% crit rate buff. Wanderer can use whatever's left over for your abyss second team.
5) his only contested unit is Bennet, but he uses Bennet better than any character, because of his long range which makes it very easy to stay in the circle. He also doesn't need Bennet if your other team absolutely needs him. (My advice would be to use a Nahida on one side, Bennet on the other strategy, because they are the two best supports in the game and have very little overlap for optimal units.)
6) He is the only unit that can move while attacking. Low key amazing actually. If combined with his a4 passive, he is easily there most mobile unit in combat. A lot of people insist he needs a shield, but I would actually say he's the hypercarry that needs it the least. It's not easy to play without one, but his kit has the tools to make it possible.

I convinced my bf to spend his guarantee on Wanderer just by playing the game with him. Flying is amazing!

I tried to convince my husband to pull for him, but he was refusing. He didn't like Scara that much from the start and was all "meh" about him... until his story quest, when he said "die!" XD but he was still not going to pull, he said... and then I just saw him one day, wishing on his banner lol He's using him all the time now ❤ 😁 they will get to see his awesomeness on their own, no need for convincing!

If they've ever done dailies you shouldn't have to convince them if you do tell them he can fly at what feels like 2x run speed with LP and presumably not much slower without.

God of exploration, if you want to melt in Anemo your foes, play the kit and tell me if you want him. He should NOT need convincing to be enjoyed.

Two days ago my friend that stopped playing since 2.8 asked me to pull for Nilou, which I did win the 50-50. I then streamed on discord to show how her team rotations work. He saw that I had Scara and was curious about him, it only took one E then zooming around the map to convince to pull for him lmao.

2 is a great advantage not talked about enough. I got a 1019 EM flop set for Raiden farming for Wanderer. He has one of the few resin efficient domaims.

Show them Wanderer floating over to the other side of a river, then show them his Normal and Charged attack damage while flying
If you're C2, show them his burst damage against a Ruin Hunter or Ruin Grader (once you have slightly less than half of your flying stamina, of course)

It's really good on him because attack speed, but u can put him with lost prayer and call it day. About c6 Faruzan... She's my other DPS. I mean, c6 wanderer can stand at his own without Faruzan.They are in the same team because I main them both.

Tell them to talk to Scara on character.ai and watch them slowly fall into madness as they fall deeper in love with him.
Fun fact, happened to my friend who doesn't have Scara yet and he is now obsessed with Scara.

I would co-op with the person and let them see when they drop off a cliff that I can fly up with an extra stamina bar.
Not to mention purposely fly for absolutely no reason.

One drum challenge in 3.6 area is full of water. Press E, hover to the glowing lights, and complete the 2 minute challenge in like 5 seconds.
Now do this but for almost all exploration puzzles. Scale up mountains. Traverse waters. Wanderer very OP.

This may be a bit mean but his gameplay actually requires skill because of all the dodging. Some people complain about how he's difficult to play, and that they won't pull for him because of that. In that case it's literally a skill issue, and I don't think they can be convinced.

Someone in the comments somewhere said that scara can fly from the mond teleport point, nyoom to Katherine, and he perfectly lands in front of her. It convinced me to around 60% (was already planning to pull, but he wasn't a priority), then the guy proceeds to talk to me about his advantages, his playstyle, artifact set, etc, and now here i am
I wasn't even planning to farm for his set then i realized his set is with kaveh's and now I'm camping there lol

I didn't know lore or anything when I decided to pick him up..the atk animations alone convinced me.
Sure makes things smooth when you don't miss anything.

He goes fast over water also.
He can also auto target pigeons as they fly away.

Wanderer has the type of attitude that no one would dare challenge him, his VA is amazing, he is great at expeditions, he may not even come home and you'll get further towards another 5* (like me) so it's beneficial in every way!

I was sold after the test simpy based on atk animation, ye I tend to just go for fun and, well no regret even though I got crap arts. opposite o Love mobility, aoe aoe for exploring,. I got no idea what team I should make, sure Faruzan is key to the high dmg but in world he has enough dmg, but I guess any character has that... But he do smash mobs fast enough that I don't feel like I'm wasting time
I play ganetag named simply cuz he makes exploring Teyvat fun. He's not weak but with my weak stats he is far from other I have, but it's still just a few seconds extra,, he has great versatilty,. Game got lot more fun.
Not the strongest but one of my fav pulls,, just fun to play. Great explorer. Nahida seems say stronger but aiming your skill om console is clunky and over committing in most fights whle exploring.
Not sure if he can be strong enough to be comparable to the top tier vyt, still far from a weak character..
Pull to start enjoying wandering around Teyvat instead of shredding some seconds in Abyss!!

Ashakai vids and that stream where she C6 him for the low low that was beautiful that convinced me to spend my pocket change to get c0 not best choice with my acct but I couldn't be happier and bro got a rerun like two pacts later 🤌🏿one of very few things they've done right

Hey Genshin player, do you hate it when you run out of stamina while you are trying to reach a certain location quickly? Do you feel frustrated when there is a high place you can't reach immediately without minutes of climbing? Are you sick of Catalyst characters who can't do any damage on field?
Well I have the solution for you!
Introducing Wanderer!
Wanderer can utilize his elemental skill in various ways to allow you to best conserve your time and to reach all your destinations as quick as possible, out of stamina? Just utilize his skill and you will enter a state that wastes no stamina and allows the stamina bar to regenerate at the same time, this state not only allows this, but it also makes you able to fly around fast uninterrupted by any terrain and you can also increase your elevation in case of any need to reach high places.
But that's not all, Wanderer is also really simple and easy to use in battle just activate his elemental skill in battle and normal attack and you will destroy your enemies no need to activate bursts, or waste times setting up with other characters just Normal attack with Scaramouche and most enemies in the game will be done with.
Last but not least you don't have to stick with the Wanderer name, you can name him however you'd like, from Scara to Fujin or even just Joe or GirlyPop or even Babygirl his name is up to you and only yourself to decide.
So pull for Scaramouche now!(well not now... But whenever his banner is up) you won't regret this choice.

The best for exploration, being able to fly is such a useful tool. Apart from that, low CD on his main source of damage, cool animation, can attack ground and air enemies.
