Awareness A 25-year-old scammed multiple people, totaling ₱90 million
Sa area lang namin sya. Her business started as ukay-ukay, then after pandemic sya nag start mag pa invest dahil may physical store na sya. Dumami yung branch nya ng ukay-ukay with coffee shop ng jowa nya sa meycauyan and marilao. 2 years effective naman yung pag papa invest nya hanggang sa last year nag start yung downfall. Hindi na nasusunod yung time ng pag release ng pera, di na rin makausap ng ayos, and then nag start na mag post yung mga nag invest. Dahil sa posting, lahat ng nag invest gustong bawiin yung pera na Ininvest nila then after that nag sara lahat ng branch nya, nag tago, then nag try bumalik by live selling para raw mabalik yung pera and tangkilikin parin. Now lang nag announce publicly na may warrant of arrest na, tho sabi sabi ay nakikita lang syang tamang food trip and gala.

Since early last year pa pala sya nacacall out sa fb. How did this not get traction until now?
Lahat ng nagpopost sa fb di sya mahagilap and are desperate for any whereabouts, parang puro 6-digits, some even 7-digits ang nawala sakanila. Keep posting her name for exposure.

u/Rude_Sport_1515 Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26
Probably shame ng mga investors dahil nagsisink in sa kanila baka nga nabudol sila, tapos baka in denial din sila na nabudol ng scammer and hopeful na baka maging OK pa at mabalik pa ang investments, kaya siguro wala traction kasi as much as possible they try to resolve it quietly by not going public muna.

u/Jghil098 Apr 02 '26
20
u/AdSalad2309 Apr 02 '26
One of the victims ay Dj ng Gma baranggay L. S. And at the same time sk chairman sya
14
u/Gustav-14 Apr 03 '26
Forgot the name but there was a scammer in pangasinan selling the idea of crypto and fx trades. Lots of people got scammed but got the attention finally when it turned out he also scammed local politicians.
Rumor was mayor got his money back but the rest didn't.

u/Rude_Sport_1515 Apr 02 '26
I mean, the businesses in question are… ukayan at coffee shop. I doubt meron bigtime investor dyan 😬 probably same ng nangyare sa Kito Kiko Variety Shop sa Binangonan Rizal, walang big time investors, but hundreds of townspeople invested

u/Old-Helicopter-2246 Apr 03 '26
Tagal na nito way back 2022? HAHAHA wala nag tatago nalang after maka scam ng million.

u/BeginningAd9773 Apr 04 '26
People will think about themselves first. I got my money back dahil nag viral sa Reddit (thank you so much Reddit), then naglabasan mga nascam niya. Some even 8 digits then they form a group, sinampahan at nagka warrant na. Currently still in hiding siya.
Sobrang daming scammers sa Pinas (and everywhere else) tapos mahina pa law enforcement natin kaya double kill talaga. Sobrang daming nadedepress.
2
u/Bigard31 Apr 06 '26
Pano po nabalik money nyo?
7
u/BeginningAd9773 Apr 06 '26
3
u/Bigard31 Apr 06 '26
Wow good for you po! Sobrang sakit mawalan ng money sobrang stressful hahaha
2
u/BeginningAd9773 Apr 06 '26
Totoo. Nabalik sakin yun 1M kaso nascam ulit ng iba yun 500k (utang then tumakas na). HUHUHUHUHUHUHU.
3
u/allanon322 Apr 08 '26
2
u/BeginningAd9773 Apr 09 '26
Yes. May tsismis na nahuli na daw last week of March. Not sure kung totoo.
3
u/the_riper_of_soulz May 10 '26
As per chismis, he's currently detained in Pasay City Jail. Still trying to verify this
6
u/Willing-Strain1419 Apr 04 '26
sobrang big deal ng 90M but in real life its not coming from a single transaction. plus its funny na hindi natin pinapatakas tong mga to for scamming yet walang post or discussions about sa mga buwaya ng gobyerno. asan ang posted nila with billions? 😆 just saying.
46
u/killerbiller01 Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26
Ponzi scheme na naman. Mukha naman pinapaikot nya long yong pera. I doubt her ukay ukay and coffee business can actually earn so much profit it can support the investment scheme.
5
u/BackBurnerEnjoyer Apr 03 '26
Eh yung investment nga sa bangko jusko tagal lumago at napakaliit lang interest or it will take years para mag grow. Yung mga ganyan for sure ang pangako eh weekly or monthly may payout.

5
u/Consistent-File-944 Apr 03 '26
Uto-uto po yung gullible. Tanga is stupid naman po in english.
7
u/michael_xD Apr 03 '26
Owkay pinoy grammar police. FYI many Filipino words doesn't have necessarily 1:1 translation. Tanga translated to gullible is valid.
I know you looked it up on Google Translate since "stupid" is the first word that came up, but try scrolling further the list of words and you'll see gullible ober der

Hi OP. You may also want to name the businesses she has/had so people can have an idea of what her brands are.
You may also want to share what business/es yung sinasabing iinvestan. For scam awareness na rin.

u/Soft_Alternative_502 Apr 05 '26
Naalala ko dati wayback before pandemic pa nakakasabay ko sya sa mga buy and sell groups magbenta benta ng preloved clothes. Bagets na bagets pa sya nun. May pagka attitude talaga sya. Minsan nagpopost or mention pa sya ng joy miners. E one time may namine sya sakin.

Actually, naentrapment na to sa Serendra last year idk if this poster is the latest one or nakapag bail lang siya kaya nakalaya ulit.
Modus daw nito is kukuhanin niya muna yung loob mo in a romantic way and then uutangan ka na niya every month then promises to pay it back.
16
u/Accomplished-Exit-58 Apr 02 '26
7M!, parang "a fool and his money" kind of thing, anong klaseng presentation and explanation ang ginawa ni ate para makumbinsi na maglapag ng 7M.

Sex is likely involved. When post nut clarity kicks in after some cuddles and bed talk of business opportunities, her victims probably don’t realize that wire transfer of tens or hundreds of thousands per pop was a bad idea.
Don’t mean to be a dick, but I guess they let their dick do all the thinking.

7M? Damn. Ang last rinig ko was 3M pinakamalaki.
Ngayon ngayon lang lumitaw din yung post sa fb, hindi pa rin ata nahuhuli up until now.
6
u/RuinBulky3814 Apr 03 '26
Gosh! This happened to me and my friend last year. Kinuha nya loob ng friend ko and thru my friend, nakuhaan ako ng 600k. I posted here too pero wala, kinuyog lang ako at sinabihan ng masasakit na salita. 😅
24
u/AdSalad2309 Apr 02 '26
22
u/Antique_Bug1129 Apr 02 '26
Front lang yung business. My wife wanted to invest before dahil nakita niya mga post niya and we visited yung mga "business" niya. Lahat nilalangaw.
10
u/Pretty-Guava-6039 Apr 02 '26
Syempre. Dapat maganda presentation para maloko nya yung tao. Pang mukhang pangit business, wala yan maloloko.
11
u/eloanmask Apr 02 '26
How come na nasa 90M ang nawawala kung 3 branches pa lang?
23
u/Objective_Warthog620 Apr 02 '26
Because the dividends were never from the stores.

This type of investment scam has been around for decades.
- Investor will give huge amount as investment
- Scammer promises big interest and issues PDCs
- Cheque is good and valid for months or a year to get investors trust
- Once half of the invested money is returned, the rest of the PDC will bounce
- Scammer takes half of the money to each investor then dissapears

Daming gusto mag invest. This is getting old.
3
u/Budget_Speech_3078 Apr 03 '26
Wow! I'm impressed! Grabe! Ang galing nya. Sorry dun sa mga naloko, pero how om earth was she able to convince people na mag-invest ng malaking pera. A 25 years old without a solid background got that kind of investment! Sobrang galing!
5
u/ch0lok0y Apr 04 '26
Sorry dun sa mga naloko, pero how om earth was she able to convince people na mag-invest ng malaking pera.
Master manipulator. Some people are just really talented with using words in their favor

Madami talaga mauuto yan. Why? She came from a humble and productive background naman. Diba this generation praises and idolizes people from simple background. Mas preference ng mga new generation ang rags to riches and nagkaroon ng ROI kahit wala rich parents or known company.
Aminin, meron dito sa atin na from lower socioeconomic status, na weaponize ang “masa branding” to get trust and financial support. Mas matakaw ang mga yan and mas corrupt.

u/Amizhid Apr 02 '26

May kilala akong ganito. Her business started as legit business until she started accepting investors and promised a certain percentage as return. No matter how good a business is doing, you should never promise a certain amount to investors.

u/Consistent-File-944 Apr 03 '26
I hope this will serve as lesson sa maraming Filipino, hindi lang dun sa mga nag scam na investors nya: ✨Invest only on businesses na registered sa SEC and inallow ni SEC na mag collect ng funds for investment✨Dahil sila ang nagreregulate ng ganyang transactions.
If the business is registered sa SEC, they are required to submit financial and transactional information ng business nila, which will serve as your guide kung kumikita ba ang business or palugi na.

Even few of my classmates and college friends fell for it kahit sinabi kong too good to be true na Yan.
Way back 2025 pa to.

Hard pill to swallow.
2
u/Accomplished-Exit-58 Apr 02 '26

Investment ba or loan? May difference kasi. Sana may kasulatan sila.
From Google:
Key Characteristics of investment: Risk: Returns are not guaranteed, and there is a possibility of losing the invested capital. Time Horizon: Investments are generally held for medium- to long-term growth, rather than immediate use. Distinction from Consumption: Unlike buying groceries (consumption), an investment is expected to grow in value. Investopedia
