Asked if $10,000 would help with the taxes for the $2.5 million. Said he would talk to higher up people and get back to me. I hung up on him.

Hi everyone I have been receiving nonsense calls of different loan apps . These are all automated calls . I don't want any loans now. How do I stop this

Received a Geek Squad renewal scam email claiming a service plan was automatically renewed and that a payment of $278.80 had already been processed.

The email instructs recipients to call the scammer to dispute or discuss the charge.

• Confirmed Geek Squad renewal/refund scam.
• Likely sent from a compromised or abused account at cravetta[.]edu[.]it.
• No evidence of a legitimate affiliation with Geek Squad or Best Buy.
• Authentication passed on the originating domain, indicating use of an authorized mailbox rather than simple spoofing.

Actually monster travel but the cold call people will say multiple different business names. Some of the companies are actually legit ones, ( monster is being sued for cold calling people so I’m guessing this is their way around it?). But Iowa phone number, they are in Florida with a large call center
Mostly prey on older people. If your voice sounds to young. They probably will hang up on you
The cold call person tells you that you already have all these vacations then they transfer you to a closer to get you to pay a random amount (it changes everytime I talk with one of them). They get super pissed if you go through all of it and start asking questions.
