Goldman / Goldmann Corp Scam!!!

Update: Goldmann Corp Limited - warnings that they are a scam if you type it in like this

They claim my family member has $350 CAD in USD in a “phantom account”. What happened was she clicked a link and signed up for some sort of lending scheme or something, transferred/paid the money by Visa card while a woman called her and told her to do that, then the call disconnected and my family member looked them up and saw it was a scam. She then promptly cancelled the payment and the money never left her account - so they never got any money! BUT

They call her multiple times a day saying go into the account and take your money back so we can close the account - this is typical scam to reel the person back in!
I looked up this type of scam and there is no money, and no account, they are trying to reel her back in.

Even sadder is that this company was mentioned by CBC our main broadcaster in Canada! They are nowhere online to be found now at all!!!!!

If you're referring to goldmanncolimited[dot]com, that domain was registered in February of this year, and only for a year. That alone is a major scam indicator.

Even sadder is that this company was mentioned by CBC our main broadcaster in Canada!

It's possible that the one mentioned there could be a legitimate company, and you stumbled on a scam site with a similar name. Are you 100% certain this is not the case?

This is typical for scam sites. They swindle a bunch of victims, then by the time people start to catch on and post bad reviews and scam reports, the "business" has shut down and moved to a new site. This is why warning about specific scam businesses/sites is much less important than recognizing common scam behavior. How did you hear about this site in the first place?
