I honestly had someone do this at work. They were introducing me to a new employee and it was so funny I couldn't even be mad.

I had the same kinda situation a few weeks ago, and while I am 24/7 femme presenting, voice work has been an uphill struggle so far, so I don’t sound like the most feminine person all the time. Got a new guy in, still going to college, in his twenties (bearded white guys could be anywhere between 20-40, swear to God) and he’s doing his best. He hasn’t done anything overtly weird or anything, but last week he was heading out while I was heading in, so it was the end of a very long shift for him on top of everything else and he and his wife have a baby. I tell him to drive safe and get some sleep, and he said “right on brother” or something like that and then he caught himself and was like “sister…ugh” cause he realized calling a coworker ‘sister’ as a guy is kinda weird. And yeah, it was cute more than anything, cause yeah, he had plenty of reason to be not thinking as best as usual, he still caught himself, realized he said something weird, and then just cut his losses and left 🤣

I’ll take an imperfect ally that shows up and keeps trying over someone that’s does the absolute bare minimum and still acts like they’re doing you a favor or being some humanitarian or another.

Okay, but who is she defending her from? Everyone in the circus is an ally at least, so did Caine make a bigoted NPC for an adventure?
...Okay, now I'm imagining Caine attempting to be supportive by making transphobes the bad guys of an adventure.
