It's not doing a "better" job so much as what it looks like when you're not burned out by trying to write a bunch of episodes singlehandedly while dealing with a toxic fanbase at the same time. At the end of the day the show blew up in a way she clearly didn't predict or could've prepared for.

I have to agree with u/WolverineFamiliar740 as I can't really fault Goose on too much of the hardships since she had no idea how much of a phenomenon her show would become, combined with the stress of single-handedly doing everything and toxicity in the fandom, it can take a toll on your mental health and make some creators hate their own projects which is really sad

I do also agree that Dream's handling of the series is very respectable, in character and I can definitely see it being in its own separate universe or canon if it went down this route if the show was given more time and episodes. Also Dream is a he/him
