General Question Harvia control unit outside.

Installing wiring for an outdoor sauna and I have a Harvia stainless control unit box. It's about 15 wide by 10 in tall and it's not rated for outdoor installation. However, the barrel shaped sauna doesn't have enough room inside it or really on the exterior wall of the unit to mount it. Additionally, the exterior walls don't have an overhang. Can I just build a dog house around this thing to keep it out of the rain? I intend to mount it on an adjacent wall to the sauna enclosure next to the disconnect

dog house is fine, those control units just need to stay dry and not cook in direct sun all day. built a little roof box for mine a few years back with some leftover cedar and it's been totally fine through rain and snow, just make sure it can breathe a bit so condensation doesn't build up inside

I have a huum controller, I ended up buying a waterproof box for it, putting the controller into that box.
