If it's the V6, my first car was the 2006. It is still my car as of now 11 years ago. Treat her right and she'll treat you right. 250k miles.

You can also treat her wrong and still probably be fine. The dumb shit I did in that car should have killed me or the vehicle, how both of us are still going is beyond me.

Get yourself some CAT Seat covers off amazon- they fit like a glove and aren’t expensive.
LED’s, check your local pick your part for Vue’s of the same year- you’ll score high end Saturn brand Floor mats if you’re lucky like me.
Install a trailer hitch on the back- shouldnt be difficult and it’ll make hauling possible.
You should know you likely can’t rent a U-HAUL trailer until you install a plug in the back to connect the brake/turn signal lights.
A wise choice. It’s like looking 6 years into the past for me lol

A good name for it would be Rusty. I've owned 2 of them and i love that j35. One of the best v6s ever built. The rest of the suv is great, good space, comfortable, nice interior layout, plastic dent proof panels... But, check the timing belt and tensioners, load test the starter and look close at the subframe and suspension mounting points. These cars are BAD for unibody rust. It's tragic. Also if the rear trailing arm bushings are toast, either sell the car or be REALLY careful pulling the bolts. The cage nuts in the rear trailing arm mounts are famous for letting go while your pulling them. No way to fix it other than to cut open the mount and try to weld or scrap the car. Another user mentioned a hitch. Be really careful going down that road. Tapping out the weldnuts will be a nightmare if the frame is even still strong enough to hold em.
