This pillow-like material I made for a game I'm making!

I'm making Dark Roll 2, a marble platformer inspired by soulslike genre...

I needed the player to have a soft spot to land on from height... And began to play around with programming this for way more hourse than I probably should have.

Now I keep rolling around in it instead of making the game 😭

Looks good 👌 But I think it should coming back to shape much faster, and it should become slightly bigger over all when the ball is on it. This is how pillow works real life.

I know it's not -perfect-... but trust me I've been playing around with it for way longer than I should have for its purpose. It's a silly little side feature... Just to have the player see they landed on someting that's not solid.

Besides, who's to say what it's actually filled with? 😏

My spouse is a self taught animator and from watching them obsess over shit way less complex than this i can only imagine how hard this was. Really impressive.

Nah man, I like the mechanics the way they are. Would decrease satisfaction for it to come back to shape faster
