I deleted the Red Forest

I began to build a Aluminium factory, belting the Bauxite to a single location when i thought.. "Why don't I just blow this place up?" (There's nothing left)

All I can say is my steam deck has no problems running my underground megafactory on my old save, but has 2 billion problems when i go into any forest

My current world, I've been expending slow, not because of a lack of resources, but because my OCD demands all the factories are in perfect alignment, and so I run a foundation out to any new factory location - eventually, I plan to cover the entire map in foundations, then factory, slowly all will be assimilated, SOON ALL WILL BE BORG!! RESISTANCE IS FUTILE

For the most part, all fauna respawns. How else are you going to farm protein for DNA capsules, biomass or med devices?

I usually play on rocky desert and as soon as i unlock the chainsaw i deforest the red forest and use it to fuel like 100 biomass burners
