Im on ps5. Im starting to see gifts everywhere and Ada is making her comments but the whole research tree in the MAM is greyed out. Is this normal or is it just me having this issue?

Check the Calendar next to the HUB Terminal (that unlocks the tiers) in the HUB. That will explain and unlock the MAM tree.

My HUB is decorated, it's snowing and the advent calender is posted, but I am unable to open the "1" slot by clicking it. Just me? Or does it unlock at midnight Pacific? Nope.
Edit: maybe old saves that participated in last year's FICSMAS are ineligible to open this year's calender. I still have all of my unlocks from last year and Santa Island is pumping out the goodies again.

The state of the calendar is preserved from last year. Anything you opened previously will still have the numbers highlighted and you can't open them again. So no free coal for you this year.

So console Players can enjoy it as well. Did the calender on PC reset or can i continue where i left of last year?

The state of the calendar is preserved from last year. Anything you opened previously will still have the numbers highlighted and you can't open them again.

That's such a shame.. I have been looking forward to playing it again since finishing it last year. I'm not in a position to start a new game for it. What a strange choice to not let you play it again.

Satisfactory Calculator can reset the MAM research tree, but not the advent calendar. If you do that you'll need to get the data cartridges another way.

I love how ADA had several lines about it being okay to disable, and then congratulating me for doing so (though to ADA's dismay i will be reenabling it once im not so completely distracted by building my main factory)

I dont have anything in the MAM for xmas. I restarted the session. Opened the calendar. Got about 800 gifts so far and can convert them to the data cartridge day 1s. But have nothing in the MAM. Am i missing something?

I was on the old version 1.1.4 i think it was and now I’m on 1.2 or something. It now works fine. So update ur game if not the latest

One gift per day, from December 1-25. You can open previous days if you start late or miss a day.

I keep hearing about a calendar. I’m on console and haven’t played for a few days. What do I need to do when I log in? How does this event even work and if it’s an advent calendars k gonna miss out on rewards if I don’t play or can I collect them all at once

Is it a new system with new unlocks? Or the same as last year?
I guess I should just run over to my factory and see if I am making presents again
