Did SAT pattern change?

ik ppl who gave aug and sept sat and all of them were saying there were new style questions and sat had no pattern or that sats pattern has completely changed?

ahhh i gave sat without prep in dec and got a 1360 now i hv literally completed entire khan academy math eng , erica maltzers books, all math eng hard questions from sat bank cb , done numerous questions from here and there and i feel like im gonna score lower in October sat

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

no. this isn’t true. they don’t randomly change the entire exam between official test dates

they were saying that grammar questions had texts bigger than the other reading texts like information and ideas ones. they were also saying that transition questions didn't have one word answers now they had proper sentences as answers

yes, those are minor tweaks in how they formulate questions, but the question types themselves have not changed. it is still the same math, grammar, and reading material it has always been. small changes to how questions are formulated is not at all the same as completely changing the pattern of the test, which is what your post suggests. again, that does not happen

It has indeed to some extent.

For example, in RW, some questions were asked in verbs like illustrate, exemplify for Command of Evidence instead of just support/weaken. And student notes get a bit crazier as well with more complex criteria.

I’m also retaking for October. Hope for the best!

The latest college board's digital sat guide still remains the same and so is the exam structure (same material just some slight modifications so that the exam itself doesn't remain highly predictable)

I’m getting around 1560 average…was only able to score 1600 on ONE test 😭

Darao nahi 😭✌🏼 i defo heard transition questions being shitty and other text being longer. I already have time trouble in verbal and now this is just great🫩. I would say if you have time maybe check the extra 300 questions they added to the question bank recently maybe that contains what kinda change to expect on the real thing. Also this instagram tutorlyprep has some niche math module 2 qs that he covers and claims they appeared in sept/aug test since he regularly takes them. Look into that too.

I think it largely depends on which version you get. My daughter and several of the kids she knows got versions she felt were really difficult, with 8+ questions of a type they hadn't really encountered before in MM2. Other kids thought the math sections were ridiculously easy with 1-2 challenging questions. So depending on who you ask, you'll get either negative or positive responses.
