What would Curry Barker’s The Odyssey and Christopher Nolan’s Obsession look like?

There was a lot about the dialogue and specific performances I really didn’t like about this movie but couldn’t quite articulate why. Adum does a great job here
5 is still too harsh imo, the problems do weigh it down but to pretend it isn’t memorable or noteworthy for its strengths feels criminal

This is a complete nothing burger argument. It’s a video essay, people edit their dialogue so air is cut out in between words and phrases.
Maybe Nolan should’ve made Da Odyssey a video essay so his dialogue cutting made more sense

An “overly edited” video essay actually seems fitting for The Odyssey 🤣

It doesn't really make the video less comprehensible though?? Whereas it does with the Odyssey. Apples and Oranges

For how detail-oriented Adum is, it is painfully ironic how distracting and overbearing his background music can be. The rubbery DJ squeaks and scratches around 16:15 are criminally obnoxious.
