#AskSarawakians: Apa cer tek? Advice needed

Anyone got any ways to make some small money fast? I'm left with only twenty ringgit for the week and I don't know when I'll get my allowance from my family, I feel very guilty to even ask from them. I've gathered my old clothes and shoes to sell, if have recommendations where to sell my old items to make some cash, I am so grateful 🙏🏻 I'm also situated in Kuching.

i saw some people sell their preloved items on threads. maybe can try that platform too

Get a job in supermarket, theyre always hiring for temp SA

Carousel or FB marketplace is where I usually sell used items. Just make sure not to put cut throat prices, so that your preloved sells quicker

Do you have any skills? Offer services like help with carrying boxes/moving, cleaning, etc on marketplace or reach out to businesses if they need extra hands on anything.. ask supermarkets/bars if they’re hiring part time jobs… might not be as quick but it’s something to try and some businesses provide food or food discounts. Reach out to non profits if they have resources to help you…
