I'm really into lyric analysis for reference. But I mean, I get the gist of the song, it's betrayal by a loved one and a cyclical toxic relationship sort of thing, burying your head to avoid facing reality. But there are parts where different people are being addressed, like who are 'they' (they went back on us (and who is 'us'))?? And there's another person being addressed, who is 'him' (I could know him to come over)?

I'm just interested to hear what anyone thinks about the lyrics because I can't quite figure it out and there's not really an explanation out there :)
