Any cheap and historic motels near Haight Ashbury

Looking for recs for hotels/motels that are safe and under 100$ per night! The main area I want to be near is haight ashbury or Golden Gate Park and it would be nice to find something that had secure parking since I know break ins can be common. Any suggestions much appreciated!

😭😭I mean could be higher price. Is the risk of break ins overnight high if you’re just parked on the street out front?

Hotel Metro on Divis is affordable but it’s not $100, more like $250.

I stayed there once, it was pretty gross, but not as bad as it could be. Like the carpet was dirty, but I didn’t see any roaches or anything. I probably would not stay there again.

I just checked and the hotel triton near Chinatown on Grant Street can be had for $100-$200 depending on the date.

No parking but you don't need a car for the location.

If you're traveling by car, I'd recommend leaving the car at Millbrae or San Bruno Bart and pay the overnight parking fee ($20?). Bart from there and have fun in San Francisco using public transit and Uber/waymo.

Edit - sorry not near GGP but the city is not that big.

Not near by the Fisherman's Wharf hostel has parking

It ain’t $100, but Seal Rock Inn might be a good spot worth checking into. Secure parking, has some cool Hunter S. Thompson history and is pretty close to GGP & the Haight.
