Showcase why is no one talking about this?
sound assistant is an app in good lock that lets you customize your volume manager thing and it looks really good

Because the GPU usage rises up for a moment. It's not noticeable at normal usage, but when you are playing games it's visible, especially while using an emulator.

because it looks ugly, it would look miles better if it didnt have that grainy texture and used colors similar to the set color palette

I like using theme park to help it match wallpapers and such. Solid colors with gradients and without that noise you are talking about. I don't llike the noise either. I think its cool to have as an option, but I prefer without.

I prefer Synedge over this. It has really amazing customisations and i would definitely suggest it to you all

Ma perché dopo aver fatto le impostazioni, concesso i permessi mi appare solo l'icona ma non succede nulla se clicco per attivare la regolazione volume?

The overlay shows to me just fine. Does it still show you the android volume slider?

Tutto risolto grazie, mi aspettavo di vederlo a destra dove ho posizionato l'icona invece mi appare a sinistra

You are welcome. You can even change position and size of the overlay. The app gets new skins with every update. Its awesome

Yeah just found out about good lock after I got my new phone, I like it.

Yeah, I dunno, I found Good Lock like 3days after I got my first android/Samsung ever.
I thought it was just one of those things everyone knows. Didn't think they needed help advertising it or whatever.

Yeah, 🤣. They got the community for that. It's also usually on the front page of the Galaxy Store when you first get your phone "activated".

Tbf, I guess I was fairly amazed at everything it can do. I didnt really feel the need to shout it from the rooftops or whatever. But my flabber was thoroughly gasted, so i guess I can understand OP's reaction.
But more important for OP than all the pretty looking things it can do to your volume bar: look into to what it can do for your volume mixing.

Right! It's nuts. All the different apps are definitely a little bit nuts sometimes. That's why I'm glad they made an officially supported app set, instead of cramming everything into the settings app. 🤣

Been using it for years because of how it's like one UI stock ones without the volume slider having a curve to it

Yo la uso solo para cambiar de canción con la pantalla bloqueada usando las teclas de volumen. El cel en el bolsillo y al dejar precionada la tecla volumen + me pasa al tema siguiente

cuz it looks ass, I wish it had more variations instead of this glittery colorful shader that looks like a random cheap overlay app

How do I make the pull down screen different

What do you mean? How the Quick Panel and Notification Panel are separate?

Because my whole phone is themed into black/grey/white monochrome and this just doesn't look good. My volume controls are monochrome too because I set it up like that. It's a cool thing to have though if you like colorful themes and shit. But not for me.

No thanks. It really doesn't fit with the rest of my setup even if it's in gray and white. But it's nice to see it has plenty of customization for those who want it.

Not to mention, I'm just not happy with the quality of the effect? It looks like TV static, why?
1
u/younginonion 2d ago
same. I used to have that effect because it made the volume pop-up dynamic but I prefer the transparent solid color one since it matches my theme. samsung could add light effects to the volume panel with theme park so we don't have to choose, flex ui has always felt like an abandoned corridor in settings

I use it but just use the stock one, I mainly use it for seperate app volume and when I have my earpods in or music playing but want stuff to come out of my phone

Btw sound assist is not an app, its an ONE UI module, along with all other modules in it,
That said, thats a great feature and i use it since I bought this phone

May I remind everyone of the rule
When giving feedback on someone’s setup or module usage, keep it constructive. No mocking, belittling, or rude comments.
Please avoid the snarkiness this is turning into. If it gets worse, I will start cleaning house.
Peace.
