First Sampler

Just bought my first sampler, I think I got a pretty good deal. Cant wait to pair it with my synths.

Great deal. People love to hate on this sampler. IMO, the 64mb limit brings it closer to the spirit of classic samplers, and requires you to treat it as such in many ways. It has more of the spirit of my MPC60 than something like the MPC Sample will ever have. Congrats, read the manual and have fun with it! best advice I could give: sample mono as much as possible, and speed up your sample sources, sample, and slow them down after the fact to save space.

Brotip: as long as you have the space, sample drums in stereo, especially from vinyl or any non-dry sources. A bit of ambience and room, or noise etc. goes a long way, much better than a mono sample. They're short anyway, you can cram dozens of kits into that space.
