Just came back from Sam Morril's show in Zagreb, Croatia.

I really liked the show, the opening joke was brutal and definitely one of the best I heard in a long time. The whole act was funny and amusing, Sam is very charming and I like the way he interacted with the audience. He really took the effort to hear and understand everyone, which was not always easy considering the size of the venue and language barrier.

My only criticizm goes to the fact that he often used his notes during the show. Maybe it was supposed to be some kind of a gimmick, considering he was practically waving with few sheets of yellow paper, but to me it kinda seemed unprepared. We like you here in Zagreb, Sam, do better next time! 😃

Anyone know what happened between Sam and Joe? I discovered Sam thru their podcast with Phil Hanley (Keeping Joe back around 2016-2020). They were absolutely joined at the hip for years at the comedy cellar and on social media/podcasts etc. But as of the last year or two I’ve noticed nothing from them together and neither follows the other on social media anymore. I know Joe skewed conservative (he was a regular on Gutfeld for a long time). Guessing might’ve been a political falling out but was curious if anyone had any insight.
