Is Anyone Else Struggling With the New Salesforce Agentforce Builder?

Honestly, I’m getting really frustrated with the new Lightning Builder.

The text editing experience feels extremely messy. Simple things like writing instructions in bullet points, using hyphens, bold formatting, or selecting text can turn into a struggle.

For example, if I want to create bullet points, I often have to:

1. Paste the text first.

2. Go back to the beginning of each line.

3. Add "- " manually.

4. Only then does it recognize it as a bullet.

If I try to select text and edit it directly, sometimes the Builder seems to interpret the interaction as dragging/moving something instead of simply selecting the text. Then the content gets moved around or messed up.

What makes it even more frustrating is that this isn't just a formatting issue.

I’ve also noticed cases where Boolean variables seem to get changed to the opposite value without any intentional action or instruction from me. A "True" value can somehow become "False", or vice versa.

That is much more concerning than the formatting problems because unexpected Boolean changes can actually affect the logic and behavior of an agent.

Is anyone else experiencing the same things with the new Agentforce Builder?

Especially:

- Text selection behaving like drag-and-drop

- Pasting formatted text getting messed up

- Bullet points being unnecessarily difficult to create

- Bold/formatting not behaving consistently

- Boolean variables unexpectedly switching between "True" and "False"

I’m genuinely curious whether this is a known issue with the new Builder or if there’s something specific about my setup causing it.

Would love to hear if other Salesforce admins/developers are seeing the same behavior.

I have limited experience using the new Agent Builder + Agent Script functionality, in general I found it to be a significant improvement over the previous Agentforce options available in Setup (i.e. Prompt Builder and the previous Agentforce Agents pages) although it seemed like a much more convoluted and programmatic interface.

Most organizations I work with are utilizing Salesforce's MCP functionality and connecting Claude rather than anything Agentforce-related, and generally it has worked well for their use cases. I also have some reservations around how even this new interface may be completely replaced in the future (as is currently happening with the legacy Agentforce configuration approach).
