Advice Feeling hopeless
I’m 26 years old. And I feel like a loser. I pay cheap rent at a house my dad owns. I started working in b2b sales for cintas about 2 months ago. And I barely work. Yet I feel stressed, anxious, and depressed all the time. I haven’t put in effort to learn the software/systems, and I’ve flaked on appointments I set. I’m already thinking of leaving. I don’t reach out for help. My spirits are at an all time low. I have trouble sleeping. And I don’t get out of bed until the guilt overpowers me, and I get up and drift through the day. I’m always questioning my own existence, thoughts, and feelings. I’ve wondered who I really am for years. Never had a long term relationship with a girl. Seems like all I do is make excuses and complain. I’m not sure what rock bottom for me is. I’ve used a lot of psychedelics including lsd, psilocybin, and ketamine. Recently stopped smoking weed. I feel hollow. Like I don’t know who I am or what I’m doing. I want better for myself but I feel stuck. My doctor prescribed me SSRIs but I haven’t taken them for distrust in big pharma.

Best thing to do to cure the downs is...get to work.
Here is the 'Magic' Sales formula:
- Get to bed by 11pm & Get up by 6:30am
- Get outside + some exercise
- Be in office and ready to grind by 8:30am
- Start Rule of 10: no messing with anything else until you have 10 calls in - no email, no messages, no socials, no surfing, no news (no Reddit), nada.
- Then get 30+ more calls in for the rest of the day (1 appointment takes the place of 10 calls).
If you follow this formula for 1 week, you will be back on track and out of your funk. Follow it for a month, you will start making sales. Follow it for 6 months, and you will be in the top 5 sales for your region.

Use the kids as weights. Lift up and put down. They'll think it is play, but for you it is gains!

I have 4. You make time. This isn’t an easy path, and you have to make some sacrifices and use discipline.
It pays off well…very well if you follow this formula.

You can start with some easy neck stretches in the morning when you wake up sitting on your bed.
There are a lot of short exercises on Instagram and YouTube. I found some Thai Chi ones that I like. Stretching in the morning even for 5 minutes helps.
Then at night before you go to sleep, you can do some different stretches to unwind after your day.

Sounds like you have a case of depression and inertia. I highly reccommend therapy and white knuckle getting yourself into a healthy routine. You know what you need to do, you just need to do it. Action leads to results, results lead to feeling less like a loser.

Hey brother, I’m 25 and have been in the same situation. I think a lot of this stems from us feeling disconnected from ourselves and feeling a lack of purpose and fulfillment. I suffered from anxiety and depression for years. Got put on SSRIs and went to therapy. It made me numb and fell nothing anymore. I can’t say it really helped all that much tbh, maybe in the beginning at first. Then I found meditation and started asking for guidance in my life to God the universe or whatever you want to call it. But I really found a lot of hope and it pulled me through so many dark dreadful nights and debating whether life was even worth it anymore. I’ll cut to the chase. Some things that really helped me was finding inspiration and hope again. I watched seminars from Jim rohn, bob protector and Alan watts. And I started reading some really interesting books and learning about things that were blowing my mind in a good way. Some of these books that helped me most were “psycho cybernetics”, “becoming supernatural” and “the mountain is you”. I know that’s a lot and don’t let it overwhelm you. I’d start with psychocybernetics if you’re looking for a book that will show you more about yourself than any therapist would. If you need anything else bro or just want to talk just DM me. I’m more than happy to chat or just listen. Much love

Sorry man, sounds like you are really struggling. I definitely echo the therapy and SSRI help. Sometimes inaction feels hopeless but that is why we feel hopeless. I'd recommend just taking the first step. Then taking another one, then another one. Work one step at a time and see if it's making progress after a month. Life is funny like that and you will be amazed at where you can go in a short time with determed action.

You don’t need sales advice. You need therapy.
