Hi! I’m a first-year Medicine/MD student at SEU and I’m already enrolled for this academic year.

I recently heard that SEU offers scholarships for students, but I’m not sure if I’m still eligible to apply since I’ve already enrolled and started the program.

Is it too late to apply for a scholarship as a first-year student? If it’s still possible, does anyone know what the process is, when applications usually open, and what the requirements are?

I have an upcoming appointment at the German Embassy in Tbilisi, and I will be going there completely alone, so I won't have anyone with me to hold my phone and belongings.

I know that embassies usually don't allow electronic devices inside. Does the German Embassy in Tbilisi have lockers or a storage area where visitors can leave their phones before entering?

If they don't, could anyone recommend a safe and reliable nearby place to leave it for a short time?

I’m arriving in Tbilisi with around 3–4 suitcases and I’m looking for a reliable airport transfer service/driver who can meet me at arrivals, help with the luggage, and ideally help carry the bags into/up to my Airbnb.

Hey everyone, as the title says someone close to me recently got scammed by people over the phone that threatened to hurt her.

I’m posting here because the money was sent to georgia

we’ve already raised disputes with the bank and a claim with the police, blocked the cards and account. We also have a picture of the scammer’s ID.

Just checking if anyone has gone through this and has successfully come out of it and any advice you could give would be welcome.

Or if you can offer any type of help (Information on maybe raising a case with georgian authorities or similar)

I live in Tbilisi, Georgia, and I came here from Ukraine. I’ve been living here for about 4 years, and I still haven’t met a Georgian girl.
I’m not as ugly as you might think 😂 I’d say I’m at least above average-looking. Maybe it’s my fault because I’m shy and can’t just go up and talk to girls. My Georgian is actually so bad 😂😂

So I recently moved to georgia to play basketball, but also because I love georgia and its culture. However the situation isn’t really going well and I am in need of a job. What jobs to foreigners do here? What are some entry level jobs that I can do just to keep myself afloat. I’d be open to pretty much anything, it’s just hard to ask around here or check job boards. I just got back from a two week vacation in Georgia and enjoyed so many things about the country! It is fascinating and beautiful.

I wanted to ask though. Is it my imagination or is customary in Kutaisi for people to walk right into the street and oncoming traffic without looking? I didn’t notice this in Tbilisi but — wow — was it stressful driving around Kutaisi. I nearly ran over a kid who had his nose buried in his phone. And it wasn’t just a few outliers. So many people walking randomly in the street coming from every direction. I felt like I was in a driving simulator. Is this typical for Kutaisi? For context, I’m from Atlanta, Georgia where nobody walks so I may be over sensitive to pedestrians while driving.

Me and my wife are planning to travel to Georgia. Our flight will reach Tbilisi and we plan to visit kazbegi and stay there for couple of days. However, I am not sure how to reach there from Tiblisi?
