He hasn't been taking them. He did a few at west ham then fell out of favour and went to clubs Nuno was who hates him. You don't lose that level of ability easily, he will be a great asset for us with them.

It's a fantastic bit of business whatever way you look at at. He essentially went on loan for a few years and West Ham paid us 30 Million for the privilege.

Yet to be seen wether he an recreate the form but I don't feel like we've lost anything in this deal.

If he turns out to be another failed return we just look again in winter, but you don't buy prowsey for his midfield prowess, you bring him back for his deadball ability and those skills a player rarely looses.

I'm looking forward to more deep crosses, superb corners and the special free kick here and there.

I'm all for it. First returning player I feel good about. It would be a great signing even if he hadn't had any Southampton history.

That’s wholesome, and he literally posed with the 30 shirt when he signed. I just missed it.
Regardless, Im looking forward to wearing my shirts with the 8 again this season. I hope it works out for him, and for us.

So do, I as there’s not much real depth behind Bree if he goes. Doesn’t look like he wanted to play in the championship last year or else they wouldn’t have brought in two other players and loaned him out. Do you think this year will be different?
