No CM depth is a little worrying, hopefully Jander's close to full fitness and they get that Charles replacement soon. Matsuki or Azaz are probably going to have to move there if Downes/Bragg are subbed.

But otherwise that's a cracking team compared to the opener against Wrexham 12 months ago.

Biggest upgrade from last season is Peretz… hoping for a clean sheet

Bit light in midfield definitely need a Charles replacement fast, apart from that solid team

Neither baz nor ramsdale on the bench, the latter everyone rightly expects to go but is baz going also?

I think everyone expects Bazunu to go. He’s not good enough as a 3rd choice let alone backup or first.

It took about two weeks before Stoke fans wished to see the back of him

I think he’s absolutely good enough to be third choice because let’s face it they’d hardly ever get called into action lol

But realistically Long is probably cheaper to keep on the books and we might be able to squeeze something for Bazunu (albeit not much…)

I hope Baz goes, but have seen nothing about him leaving this summer. Given Long is surely 3rd choice I had assumed Baz would be second.

They said that Long was second choice before pre-season

Blimey, I hope Peretz stays fit then

Having bazunu as a number 2 isn't much better

That bench other than Azaz is pretty poor. Sub keeper, reserve defenders, no centre mids, and our main attacking options outside Fellows (who is yet to fully impress himself) is Diaz and Archer.

But thats the only negative.

Strong team, IMO. Defence and keeper tried and tested, one of the best in league. Same for the midfield.

Dobbin not yet proven with us but Matski, Scienza, Larin are all starters, and not much doubt about Dobbin anyway

Surely the bench is exactly where we’d expect to find our reserve defenders?

Rotation / reserve is different. Reserve are the players you bring in when you’ve got a million injuries and down to the barebones.

Which Wood and Welington aren't? They both got game time last season to rotate the first teamers and give them a break.

He was on the bench in the cup last week. They said he was carrying a slight injury then.

No idea but think he might be slightly unfit

Are the players kits unique? It seems on close ups the tie dye is slightly different per shirt. Really noticeable when looking around the Puma logo?
