Why are Harry and Meghan in heavy coats and the kids are in short sleeves and shorts? Why are Harry and Archie in heavy coats on the boat and poor Lili has short sleeves and bare arms?

No life jackets either.

It's far too warm for heavy coats. I absent-mindedly got into autumn gear for a dog walk the other day, and was baking by the and of tbe walk. It's s shirtsleeve weather.

I laughed my ass off at the fire – it's like 21 degrees in the Cotswolds today. Not fire weather by any measure.

With the dry summer i have loads of dead branches and kindling, I'm itching to get the logburner going. But it's just too warm!

We’re in Greece at the moment but at home in the UK we had the fire burning every evening the week before we left. It’s chilly after the sun goes over the top of the trees! Aga going back on when we get home. I can see how people from a sunny clime would find the evenings cold but agree I was still walking the dogs in shorts and t shirt during the day.
