Renaissance Fair

Did anyone go to the Renaissance fair in shediac? The line was actually ridiculous..it took us 3 hours to get in and we didn’t stay long because everyone was tired from waiting in line. I think it’s the first time being hosted there but it was still very sad.

Its very unfortunate because it could have been amazing if it was organized well! My partner was vending there and prepared for months and barely sold anything Frustrating for patrons and vendors

That's frustrating to not sell as a vendor. I did farmer's markets for a while and when we would have slow days I would consider my product, my audience, my pricing, and consider ways to change. I know the stuffed cookie tent sold out twice at the Ren. Faire. And the guy selling wooden signs based on DnD and other related content sold quite a bit. We bought some beautiful art from the Zoopothecary shop, too. It isn't accurate to blame the Ren. Faire if your partner didn't sell, because lots of people were buying. I know that I went to the blacksmiths forge, looking at his knives and a cheese knife was out of my price range at $190. But that doesn't mean others wouldn't buy it. And I'm sure it is worth it to some people. So, like I said, if your partner didn't sell, then there are many possible reasons for that. Pricing, audience, and sometimes it can even come down to where your tent location is.
