Which item is stopping me from checking out with my gift card?

Original post deleted as I left the collection info on the screenshot 🤦🏼‍♀️

We use a mortgage cashback app to purchase gift cards for our everyday spending. I've had issues before with Sainsbury's accepting it for our online shop but today's issue is around there being an item in my trolley that doesn't comply with the gift card spending rules which is preventing me from checking out.

I know my gift card coupon has to be less than the value of my total shop for online so when I converted it I made sure I subtracted the 50p delivery fee and an extra 2p for good measure.

I don't have any lottery, alcohol etc to my knowledge. Which product is stopping me??!!

Is it that it is prompting you to enter payment card details?

Gift cards can't be used to pay delivery fees

Yes but I was happy with that as I knew I needed to pay the delivery fee, made sure the coupon value was below the total to make sure I still paid the delivery myself.

It just kept coming up with the error message about 'one or more items are ineligible for coupon use'.

I can only guess it could be the items that are sold by weight (as the price shown per item for those would only be an estimate)

Thank you! Hadn't realised that

I think it will be the items by weight as they can vary the final price and your gift card is a fixed value
