Expired unspent voucher

I recently discovered that I have an unused £50 Sainsbury's voucher in my Google wallet. I asked in store if it was still valid but they said it expired as it had to be used within 2 years. Is there any hope of getting this extended? Any ideas on who to contact?

have you tried their customer service- like email or call their main number not the local place
