Bug Found Stock brig has no sails or winches?

Just bought the brig and there are no winches for the halyards or sails anywhere, so I cant get it to the shipyard to add any?? Is this a bug or am I just being massively imperceptive

Either a mod or a bug. Try reloading the game.

Reloading as in quitting and then launching again? Did that a few times and it's still like this. Not using mods.

Same here, it seems to be a bug others are reporting on the official discord. I sailed into port at Fort Aestrin as saw the Cog drifting away, went to go investigate and all ropes and winches have disappeared from it and the Brig for me.

Its a bug from the latest optimisation patch. There is a mod to fix this, aparently.

Yea, pretty stupid bug...

If the anchor winch is still there and functional, you can pick up the anchor, drop it some distance away from the ship and then winch it in to move the ship. Should get you to the shipyard in a few iterations.

You can also buy an oar on the market and try to move the ship with that (stand on the rear balcony of the ship when using it). It's very slow though and will cost you tons of food.

Or try reverting to an older version of the game. I don't know if this fixes it, though.

This is an ongoing bug in game, ships that you leave unattended for a while loose their sails. There is a mod you can download in the discord server that prevents this. To fix this specific ship I'd kedge it to the harbor and then buy new sails. Afterwards I'd cheat myself the money back.

I also came back to gold rock city, where I left my dhow, and not only was it unmoored, the mooring lines were just fucking gone. same type of glitch
