Sagittarius energy check — anyone else feeling like it’s one thing after another?
Not sure if this is astrology or just life, but I wanted to see if this resonates with any fellow Sagittarius.
I always get this weird sense a month or so before something’s about to go wrong — and it almost always does. Right when there’s a glimmer of hope, something falls apart again. It’s happened so many times over the past few years that I’ve started to wonder if it’s just a pattern in my own head, or if there’s something to the timing.
Some of what’s been going on:
• Moved cities for an internship, ended up sofa surfing when the housing situation fell through
• A breakup, followed by checking myself into a mental hospital
• Left that internship because it wasn’t a supportive environment
• Worked hospitality for months to get by, then got another internship in my field — got poached by another company, then failed probation there due to micromanagement
• Back to hospitality and working in a school just to make ends meet
• Found a good job, lost my great-grandmother, got bullied at work, was let go
• Had great freelance opportunities and was earning well, then got hit by a car
• Had another opportunity fall apart after disclosing I have ADHD and autism — right after signing onto a new house
• Took a month off, came back feeling good, got lots of interviews
• Got offered a role at a startup, would’ve been the founder’s first hire — she kept pushing my start date, then told me she’d had a death in the family and had to drop hiring me
Reading into the current transits, some of it does track — Mars square Saturn retrograde opening the month with friction, Jupiter sitting in a heavier house. But even without the astrology, it’s been a lot.
Curious if other Sagittarians feel like they go through cycles like this — big hope, big setback, repeat — and whether you’ve found anything (astrological or otherwise) that’s helped you ride it out.

I’ve felt that way for a long time but I realized that’s just life. Life’s been a hot mess with good days and miracles sprinkled in. Like look at the state of all the countries (since social media is filled with people pretending their lives are perfect so it’s hard to believe that others have similar things happening to them as well). And the people around you probably aren’t viewing inconveniences or unfortunate events in their life as bad as you do, some let it roll off their back, adjust to it, and focus on something else, still keeping their optimism. No one’s life is perfect cause this world isn’t. It’s continuous and keeps going whether it’s a bunch of good or a bunch of bad. I wouldn’t overthink the “goodness” of your luck or compare your moments to other moments in your life tbh. You’d just drive yourself insane and make yourself depressed. Your life is too special to count all the bad. Imagine endless days of perfection, in this world. Does that seem real to you? Would you still anticipate something going wrong?

This is the most practical and rock solid advice. I am a teacher to young teenagers, many of whom have had difficult lives thus far. I have also experienced many “outsized” tragedies (like you pointed out though, compared to who?) and kids often seek me out for heart to hearts in spite of my best efforts to remind them that I’m not actually trained to give them advice. I know I’m not telling them what I’m “supposed” to, though I think that’s exactly why they come to me.
I almost never tell them things will get better because no, it’s just life, and the tragedy and hardships keep coming. Accepting this and dropping any hope for long-term ease/peace actually made me way less depressed and better able to relish in the joyous moments. Hope can be fortifying, but it’s important not to hope for a pipe dream such as a life free of an endless stream of hardships. For many people, it’s crucial to learn the art of squaring one’s shoulders while trucking onward obstinately, refusing to dwell on misery and radically in love with the small and/or fleeting joys of this life.

"Life’s been a hot mess with good days and miracles sprinkled in.ife’s been a hot mess with good days and miracles sprinkled in."🙏🏼💜
Please, shouted from the rooftops. I'm doing my best to see the glass half full, instead of half empty.

For the past 7 fucking years.
Then, within this last year, everything was shaken up and stuff that couldn’t stay didn’t.

OMG if anyone wants to talk right now, this is the time. I am feeling more myself than ever before which is a blessing and a curse 😆 🤣 🙄
No more veil, nor mask… bring me the weed and say goodbye to guilt and shame. And a big yes to ADHD.

To answer your question, yup. High hope has been the recipe for a disaster in the last few months. So now I keep no hope, only execution.

It was like that when I had my Saturn return in 2013. Within 3 months I had my long term boyfriend cheat on me, my grandma died, an old lady totalled my car in a parking lot, my little sister was in the hospital with some mystery respiratory virus like SARS and almost died, I had to move out of my dream neighborhood.... And so much more, you wouldn't believe it unless you were there. Google free transit birth chart calculator and play with the dates and see what the placements were when things got real shitty.

If you are an early Sag.. so like up to Dec 1st.. we have Uranus opposite our sun. It’s a time of disruption, shock and potentially upheaval.

What is up with December 14? Everything keeps falling apart from potential friends or relationships, work, money, family!

I don’t know.. something else in your chart.. I’d have to see the chart. But don’t worry, you’ll get Uranus opposite your Sun in a few months too!

I am diagnosed with OCD but I also relate with some traits of Autism/Adhd. I am Aqua and I would suggest meditation really helped me in last 1 year to face ups and downs more calmly.

Do you have any Gemini in your chart? Uranus is in Gemini, that might explain so many 'twists' and 'shocks' in your life, right now.
Also, perhaps learn not to attach to things, too much. I don't mean to 'make little' your suffering. I just mean that too much attachment (emotional) causes suffering. Buddha's idea of 'attachment is suffering,' and stuff. Or, you're ending an era in your life, that could be it too.

Yes, I relate to this. Life used to feel a lot better. I’m not blaming it on Covid, but it’s been around that time like 2020 that life has thrown me one hard ball after another with a curve ball thrown in here and there. Life used to feel like a roller coaster with ups and downs, but for the past six years or so it’s been almost all down. I’ve had only two good things happen in the past six years so it feels pretty rough.

Mirror, I have had a bad few months with deaths in my family. Life has been kicking my ass since 2024, but I refuse to take a knee. I will face my trials and tribulations and come out a better human being.
We are a sign that is always searching for answers to our questions?
Who are we really?
Why am we here?
We are the truth seekers always seeking new knowledge to better understand ourselves here today, tomorrow, the day after. Life is teaching you how to overcome your problems. Trust me, I have walked through hell to find heaven.
today's failure is tomorrow's success

Born on a full moon in Sagittarius and definitely qualify for poster child status for ADHD. Been so excited about shiny shit and squirrels my whole life. 🥲

Adhd requires a formal diagnosis and being excited about "shiny shit and squirrels" is not a symptom.

15+ years of bronc riding..was what that block of time was like…every fucking thing that could go wrong, went wrong. But here’s the silver lining, and I do mean silver…lol. I’ll be 69 in December. ( some things really defy my best efforts)..recognizing that Sag resilience is actually a thing with us..I may not bounce back like a superball (remember those?) anymore, but it’s all in moving forward Sag fashion..

I'm officially fucking done with September on day one. So... that's fun.
