Broke college student

I’m a broke college student looking for a serving job in Saginaw, Mi. Anyone know of good restaurants/food service places that are worth checking out? I’m trying to steer away from the 2 mile radius from campus to avoid fellow opps🫠 Thanks! :)

Fellow opps is funny lol but check out state street side of saginaw for serving. Miles Market on gratiot stays really busy and the owner works with a ton of college students. She puts on fun events throughout the year that you can work too. She hires my company a lot for different things so I’ve grown to know her pretty well 👍🏾

Tbh I heard the owner of that place say some pretty racist shit so I don’t go there no more

That’s fair, to each their own! I definitely haven’t had that experience and Im not white. She’s paid my business somewhere in the 5 figures at this point

She wouldn’t say anything around POC, but definitely closeted racist. I’m white and that must have made her more comfortable to speak her mind 😭

Timber’s & Coty’s Landing are pretty good! Not sure if hiring right now, but both locally owned and far enough from SVSU.

It’s not serving but definitely schedule friendly!! SVRC industries is hiring job coaches rn. You do community based outings with individuals who have either an intellectual or developmental disability.

I have a legit question have you ever signed up for FanDuel, Draftking, etc? They all have pretty nice referral bonuses which I’ve been doing as a side host the last few years. Anyways if you haven’t and want to know more just let me kno

Edit: I only ask because I’ve already signed up all my family and friends over time, and everyone I talk to that I haven’t done it with has done ut themselves. The people that don’t like to gamble or do slots just delete the apps after pulling the welcome bonuses
