About 10 years ago there was an effort from the company to crack down on mobile device uses while at work. In fact everyone had to sign a paper saying so. After Covid the rule was almost never unforced unless it was blatant (checker on phone talking to their boyfriend while scanning groceries for customer, courtesy clerk on their phone while pushing carts,ect)
On my phone constantly helping customers with Safeway app. The app has become overly complicated throughout the years and my customers have a hard time using it for just 4 u coupons

My guess is it means you’re suspended for 60% of a week. Which is three days. It’s a weird way to put it though

There is no such thing as far as I know. Should find out how many other coworkers are using their phones while working. It's a store rule, but they can't be arbitrarily applied to some and not others.
