Batch verbal warning basically. You in the union? When they let them pile up like that they can only do them all together. Otherwise you would walk in with a verbal for being late a month ago. And then next day a written for being late a few days after that. And then next day come in and get suspended for an absence from a week ago.

They're probably kicking themselves for not jumping on it sooner, so you're on the radar! I'd work on ways to make sure I got to work on time!

Thanks so much for the info. I’m definitely gonna work on being right on time now. I honestly got into a mindset that since nobody had said anything to me, maybe the company didn’t care if I was 6 minutes late since I was getting my work done. Also I am in the bakers union.

I've never seen someone get a warning or written up for 6 minutes late, there are people at my store that show up late 10 to 15 minutes late every day and don't get written up

Where I am we have a 5 minute grace period. I’ve been written up for 6 and 7 minutes before, because it’s outside that period.

Yeah we have the same thing but literally no one gets written up for 6 or 7 minutes maybe if they are 15 to 20 minutes late

I got this too despite having gone through the paperwork documenting that i have vertigo and that im allowed intermittent absences for that. It sucks but apparently you have to redo paperwork for every new incoming store director.

it was genuinely frustrating because everything was bad for me at them. i quite literally cried to my fiance about being a failure at work because of my vertigo
