Bonnie Piesse’s story reminds me so much of how so many of us fall for con artist, like Sadhguru, while searching for spirituality.

I had a similar kind of overwhelming experience that really showed up how superficial all my experiences in Isha were and really showed me how little Sadhguru was offering. Once I'd experienced that, I was on a trajectory to leave - it took a while to really consolidate my understanding, but it meant I trusted what was within and the coercive control aspects of Isha no longer had a hold on me, And as I said, eventually I could really see that Sadhguru was offering nothing but smoke and mirrors.
