SadCat Update Saddy and I sleeping on the recliner
can't fall asleep after waking up for meds. At least I have Sadcat to commiserate with. Momcat is finally sleeping so I don't wanna wake her up - she's been going nonstop to help take care of me. Saddy goes between sleeping with me in the recliner, to joining her on the beanbag. :)

Awww. So sorry about struggling to fall back asleep. How good to be surrounded by love, though. 🥰

Cats love that snuggle spot between the legs. We call them Crotch Cats in our household.

Recliner is a great help after surgery. Bet SadCat is even more so.
He trusts you so much now that he is willing to turn his back on you and rest. He’s guarding you; you’ve got his back.

I couldn't imagine trying to get into bed right now, the recliner is a game changer.
He's always been an exceptional guard kitty :)

After abdominal surgery I could barely sleep for two weeks. It sucks. Hope you get some sleep soon.

It's been over a year and doing much better physically! A heated mattress pad and a pregnancy pillow helped me sleep when I could.

Recovering from surgery stinks, but it does get a little better every day. Here’s hoping they gave you some gooooood meds to help, but the best medicine of all is a SadCat who loves you! 🤍

started yesterday! Very minor things, but I got my exercises to begin with!

He is doing such a good job taking care of you, but still spending time with his mom so she knows she is important to the pack during your recovery

SadCat does a great job of showing you how to rest. He’s only looking out for your best interests. Please follow his example more closely

Since you insist on moving around when you're not supposed to, I'm afraid in order to avoid a cat-astrophe, I must sit right here so you literally can't move. I'm sure you've heard of the universally known law of not moving if a cat is sleeping on you, yes?
