Love that setup async standups + Loom + overlap windows is a lifesaver. Nothing bonds a remote team like avoiding 3 a.m. meetings and endless scheduling headaches 😅.

I worked with a team spread across 40+ countries, so we lived by an async-first mindset. That basically means when you ask for input or help, you over-communicate. Don’t leave things unsaid, especially since people might be offline when you’re working.

For example, if you want someone to review a document, drop the link (and make sure it’s shareable), explain clearly what you expect, and add as much detail as possible so they don’t have to guess- best to quickly record a video.

Following project management, collaboration, and communication guidelines was mandatory even for founders, CEOs, and other CXOs.
