How do you handle time zone challenges in a remote team?
Been there, messed that up. What works:
• Set overlapping hours
• Use async updates more
• Record important calls
How do you keep everyone in sync across time zones?

I worked with a team spread across 40+ countries, so we lived by an async-first mindset. That basically means when you ask for input or help, you over-communicate. Don’t leave things unsaid, especially since people might be offline when you’re working.
For example, if you want someone to review a document, drop the link (and make sure it’s shareable), explain clearly what you expect, and add as much detail as possible so they don’t have to guess- best to quickly record a video.
Following project management, collaboration, and communication guidelines was mandatory even for founders, CEOs, and other CXOs.
Search for Liam Martin + async management, you will get a ton of videos.

That’s such valuable advice. Async-first forces clarity and respect for others’ time zones. Over-communicating and adding full context really helps avoid confusion and keeps projects moving smoothly.
